  Good place to stay but not downstairs!

  I would definatly recommend this place, we got it for only 20euros each per night and we stayed for 3 nights. Its only about 5mins walk from the square in the town and another 2mins from the port area which is where everything in this small little town happens. Great place to get away and just relax...some amazing beaches too. Cala Azzurra and Lido Barrone are the best by far. It's basically a self catering place. the only problem is there is no recpetion and nobody is there to meet you so when you arrive you have to call the number on the gate and somebody appears in a car to let u in. There is somebody on the end of the phone that they can ring if you dont speak any italian..the locals speak a tiny bit .... you get by with some spanish if you have it. Apartment was clean and modern which is the important thing. You can buy really nice food very cheap and cook it in the gas kitchen which is handy. The only thing i would say is ring them before you arrive and ask them to put u in the upstairs apartments. We stayed in the downstairs one of the 4 downstairs ones and there are no windows at all! The downstairs ones are about 15feet below ground level aswell. Just the front door area has windows but none in the bedroom so can get quite hot and the AC didnt work properly in ours either. If u are in the upstairs ones u get a good sea view apparently (just like in the foto!). That was the only bad thing.

  Great place to stay - especially on upper levels!

  We stayed at Elisir for more than a week and enjoyed every single moment. Our most important advice: Make sure that you stay in one of the upper apartments! We stayed at "Sirrania" and were very happy with it. The apartments on the lower levels are smaller with fewer windows, no terraces and not good sight. And more noise! The service is great: Pick-up at the port of Favignana and the apartments are cleaned twice a week, you get new towels then, too. It's perfect to cook your own food there, the kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom was big and very clean. Also the bedroom was very clean and quiet. Thumbs up for this place!

  What a great place

  We stayed here in September and would definetly stay again. I suggest what all the other reviewers suggest and that's to stay in an upper level apartment. They are much brighter and nicer. The apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is also a close walk to the main square and close enough to the port to walk. I loved this island and can't wait to return!!!!!

  Brilliant Homeholiday, would definitely recommend

  I stayed here with 2 friends for a two days in mid-April and it was brilliant. Ms Bice (the owner) was always helpful and speedily answered any questions I had about the area / villa etc. Ms Laura meets you on arrival and goes through the basics of where things are etc The flat was very clean and exactly as described. All my friends were very happy with the villa. There was plenty of space for our group of 3 to relax and they have even thought of the smaller things such as having a large fridges for food and drink to accommodate everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and the decor is very nice. There is a supermarket within walking distance (3 mins!) and shop/restaurant and a bar. However, as we went in off-peak time the supermarket was not always open. I would recommend this to everyone and hope to return next year.

  Poca gana de hacer negocio

  El apartamento grande y bien reformado, nuevo, un poco alejado del centro del pueblo. Pero los detalles bastante bastante mal. La limpieza lo justo o menos, una ducha muy pequeña, el mando del aire acondicionado estaba roto, no había productos para limpiar o fregar, había solo un papel higiénico, una nevera muy ruidosa, una vieja tele pequeña. Contacto con el cliente por parte de los propietarios nada, solo una señora al llegar que nos ha pedido 40 euros extra (sin recibo ni nada) para una supuesta limpieza. No hay internet.
