  Comodo para un par de noches

  El hotel es comodo, para pasar un par de noches. Nada lujoso ni con pretensiones, es limpio y sencillo. La atencion es muy buena, en la recepcion hablan ingles sin ningun problema. Me hospede solo 2 dias por trabajo por lo que estaba poco en el hotel.

  Comfortable Hotel in a convenient location.

  The Elena hotel provided comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. A five minute taxi ride from the bus terminal, check-in is located on the 6th floor. Not much english spoken but the basics were accomplished without difficulty. Rooms were spacious although the bed was a little hard. Plenty of room for storing items out of the way. Bathroom was functional a provided all the amenities (although as always towels were the small variety). The hotel is close to plenty of eating options and taxis are easily caught outside the hotel. Overall a pleasant place to stay.

  Excellent hotel

  Beautiful, large room which was very well equipped with TV, kettle, fridge, tea, coffee, free bottled water, tooth brushes/paste and a great selection of toiletries. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Excellent location!

  Clean Hotel in Yeosu Hot Spot

  Elena Hotel is: 15 mins taxi from Yeosu Airport ( 16,000) 3 mins taxi from Yeosu Bus Terminal ( 4000) 5 mins taxi from Yeosu Expo Station ( 6000) 6 mins taxi from Yeosu Tourist Hub ( 7000) (Yeosu Aquarium and Water front + Dolsan Park) 5 mins walk to Yeosu Catholic Church Its in the hot spot area for young Korean, its right next to a small traditional market (fruits and vegetable), it surrounds by restaurants/pub/nightclubs and shops. This Mini Motel/Hotel mainly caters for local tourist as I didnt see other foreigners. The Hotel Reception locates on Level 6 of a building. Check in/out was smooth, the staffs spoke little English but they tried their best to assist us, they booked/paid for the Express Bus tickets from Yeosu to Busan during the Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day) in advance and we reimbursed at checked in. Many Thanks to the front desk Lady We stayed 3 nights in a Deluxe Twin Room which was clean and spacious enough for a small family (2 adults and 2 children). The room has big window where you could see the small market underneath in action but surprisingly it was quite at night for a good quality sleep. The Shower/Toilet in one room and there is no shower curtain Beware wet floor after showered! Only hand towers was provided lucky we brought our own bath towers (I noticed that in Asia not many people use bath towers). Bathroom accessories and hairspray were provided. Other handy household stuffs were also available to use at free of charge like Washing machine & powder, dryer, microwave and mini oven. Hotel doesnt have its restaurants however there are many variety of restaurants/fast food outlets behind the Hotel. I found food in Yeosu Restaurant was more reasonable and bigger serve than in Seoul and Jeju Island. Elena also has fitness Center but we didnt try as we were too busy touring Yeosu and Suncheon. I highly recommenced this clean budget Hotel for a good night rest. Excellence in customer service for a small Hotel.

  Good rooms, but noisy

  The hotel is on the 6th and 7th floor of a building with other businesses like a soft play or a gym. Parking is free accross the road and reception is in the 6th floor. We stayed on the 7th floor in a room with a double and a single bed. The room was facing back (i.e. away from the main road). The room had a large TV, kettle and coffee/tea, air conditioning, a small lobby with some "beauty" amenities and a bathroom with a shower, soap and disposable toothbrush etc. Everything seemed quite good but in the evening we noticed loud music coming from the gym underneath, and later on a whole team of youngsters (some sport, not sure what) spent large part of the night going from room to room and speaking loudly. Then in the morning the cleaning staff communicated though shouting in the corridor oblivious of rooms being occupied or not. To top all that, the underfloor heating was on 24/7 and couldn't be controlled , so it was pretty hot and stuffy in the room (of course you could turn the air conditioning on and open the window) There where microwaves and mini ovens in the corridors but no breakfast. The building had a restaurant on the ground floor and the area has plenty of restaurants , drinking places and convince stores. A nice touch was that the hotel provides a voucher for one hour free soft play downstairs with the purchase of a coffee (usual fee 4 times a coffee price for two hours). The person in reception had no English knowledge whatsoever though.
