  Nice, clean place to stay. But management has some work to do.

  I enjoyed my stay at the Element in Huntsville. Very friendly staff, clean accommodations, and plenty of social distancing signage. My biggest issue is actually when I left the hotel. I found an unrecognized charge on my bill and I called 5 times and left 3 voicemails to try to get it resolved, but with no success. It's for a small amount - someone clearly charged a soda or something to my room - but the bigger issue is that something like that can happen. Either it was an accident - they didn't verify the name on the room and someone charged it to the wrong room number, or they have a dishonest employee. I'll assume it's the former. Separately, I tried to get the mobile key to work. Spoke to the front desk and they said they'd fix it, but to no avail. And finally, in the morning I sent a message through the Marriott Bonvoy app that I needed to dispose of my kitchenette trash. They said they would send someone up and I told them that would be great - but I wouldn't be at the room, so they should let themselves in. They never came. I came back to my room and unfortunately the trash was still there. Generally not an issue, but there was food in the trash and it would've been nicer had it been taken out.

  Highly Disappointed

  On the Marriott website it claims that this is a new hotel and it is not. The floors throughout the hotel was dirty! The lobby, elevator, and even the hallways. The hotel smelled like animals. When you pull up to this hotel you would think that it is extremely nice but that is not the case! the hotel staff is the only reason why I stayed. The whole hotel needs to be painted! My room paintings were falling down and the walls had scuff marks on them. They switched me to a suite which was a little better but if I didn't have some place to be I would have left the hotel all together. My 8yr old daughter saw a man smoking in the elevator. It was just a mess all together. The only thing I could say nice is the hotel staff was extremely nice and the breakfast was good,

  Ok, but just not great

  I went for a few days to relax and get away. Added a night for jut the hubs and I. The room had "dirt" or streaks of some sort on the wall. The first night, I had to request foam pills multiple times before receiving them (started at 3:30pm...rec at 11pm). The complimentary breakfast was a bag of food to go... all prepackaged. Second night the alarm clock in the room next door went off....the staff's reaction was "well we'll try but can't promise to get it turned off" (There was no one in the room, we had already tried). Won't stay here again. I might try the Westin...but maybe not. Service wasn't their priority.

  Terrible all around

  I normally hate writing bad reviews but this stay at the element was a disaster. At check in we met with a bad attitude from the front desk gal and I was double charged also. I know things happen but she did not apologize or admit she made a mistake, but instead blamed it on my bank. After a long drive, we decided we would relax and enjoy the trip. Our First room was not clean and our bed was full of lady bugs. There was dust everywhere and the toilet had been used. We let the front desk know and we met with another rude response. They gave us a second room but it was not clean as well. We checked out the next day and checked into a Hilton. We will never stay at this property again.

  Very nice set up

  Hotel is located in high-end area adjacent to the Marriott Hotel. They share some common areas. It is at the edge of an high-end shopping center with many good restaurants. It is just 15-minutes from the airport and close to the gate of Redstone.
