  clean and ok for a short stay

  A clean hotel with basic facilities / nothing exciting but still acceptable and fulfills the needs of a regular traveller. Rooms are relatively large for a city hotel, bathrooms are spacious but basic, No AC Too much noise from the passing by trains to leave the windows open at night

  Good value for the money

  Very nice staff. Nice and clean hotel. Close to public transportation. The bufet is ok, but a little plain in taste. The breakfast is god. This was my sekond visit to this hotel. And if i visit Rostock again, this is my hotel.

  STAY AWAY.....FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!!!!

  If I could give this hotel a -0- (a big fat zero) star rating I would. I arrived at the Rostock train station at 130 a.m. due to the train being late (called the hotel at 8 p.m. to advise them and was told they would make certain the front desk clerk would be aware). The train station was completely empty when we arrived - myself and two young children. NO TAXIS IN SIGHT....I tried calling the hotel for over 30 minutes (must of called 20 times and was put on hold with a recording) in hopes they would order us a taxi....NO ANSWER. I was furious and my kids were extremely tired. Ultimately, a taxi showed up and we didn't get to the hotel until 245 a.m. Front door was locked (typical in Europe) it took forever for the clerk to answer the door after two rings. He then informed me that checkout was 1030 a.m......I own a travel agency and have NEVER, ever had a hotel checkout at 1030 a.m. I asked for a late checkout and he relented to noon. As we checked out, I mentioned this to the Front Desk Manager and she was extremely rude....NO APOLOGY, no thank you, and no goodbye, she went in the back office until we left. Wanted to have lunch in their restaurant but was told it was closed.....really....closed at 1200 noon. Stay away from this property, they do not know what customer service is all about. I didn't see one other guest while I was there....no wonder!!!

  One night stay for four adults in a room.

  Close to public transportation. Accepts four adults in a room at a very reasonable rate. Check in took awhile as there is a long line. Breakfast is available but we didn't try it as we have to leave early.

  Basic and in the outskirts

  Just basic. I arrived late in the night and departed early in the morning. Interaction with staff and service was very short. It served my basic needs but the decoration is poor with no sense for a good atmosphere. On the other side, it was an emergency booking and for that purpose it was okay. After my stay, I asked for an invoice but they were not able to send one due to the fact that I booked via Trip advisor. It was my first experience so not really sure if this is standard.
