  This was amazing

  Porto El Jabal was one of the most fascinating places to visit im ElSokhna. With a relaxing location up the mountaim and a small semi- private pool with an amazing mountain view this was just extraordinary .. The staff was great , very helpful & nice .. I enjoyed the different food places in the area specially 7ala2et ElSamak , together with the facility of going down on pre-set hours to enjoy the crowds in Porto ElSokhna ... It was just amazing

  One of the best views in Egypt

  Pros : Best view u can imagine in Egypt - over the mountain with sea view what else do u need to relax staff friendly , the atmosphere is perfect Cons : not that much to do so it is good for two , three days maximum to relax U can reach there using ur car or a cable car which is perfect but to reach the cable car itself is very painful as the hotel is not providing shuttle or convenient way to reach it so for old people it will be so painful , there are golf cars but u will wait forever . the swimming pool is very tiny almost a kids pool . so only the view u will enjoy which to be honest is wonderful

  Only good for a one or two days for couples looking for a quite place with a different view and a good price. Any kids will not enjoy It's a good 3 stars hotel compared to similar ones, actually I can give it a 3.5 rating out of 5 but there is no option for this here. You will probably not face any problems here.

  Unique experience

  This hotel is a hidden gem of Ain Sokhna. It is located on top of a mountain and the view from up there is really really stunning. Reminds me Santorini. The hotel is a boutique style place, small and cozy. Rooms are elegantly furnished, very clean and well-maintained. Lobby area has a piano and aroma candles all over, very romantic ambiance. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples. Beautiful views, isolated location and yet you can take a cable car or shuttle bus down to join the crown in Porto Sokhna area. I absolutely loved it!

  Worst hotel experience

  The worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, that in case you can call it hotel, completely unprofessional. They seemed as they are not ready to receive guests and the hotel was cutting down operational costs on the cost of customer satisfaction. Low number of staff making it harder for them to perform perfectly and seem pressured. The bathrooms and electricity need serious maintenance. I tried moving to 4 other rooms but none was any better. Even when I got a so called upgrade, there was still issues with bathroom and electricity. I even had the main lamp turned on/off through a cable under the table. Food is not fresh and seems as leftovers from the other hotel, first day I had delay of 2 hours to have breakfast and it was changed from open buffet to set menu without prior notice. Pool is small and too cold and due to high altitude there is even too cold air. Instead of the hotel looking vintage, quiet and peaceful it felt deserted. The fountain was not working not until visitors came in 3rd day along with the shops and music, the hotel was cutting operational costs on the cost of customer satisfaction. Bus timings are frustrating with intervals that can reach up to 2 and half hours, with only 1 driver handling full day all by himself with no other means of transportation to and from the hotel. At the last night, I called the reception number 10 times but no one answered and when I asked, I was told the reception doesn't answer calls from unknown numbers if the hotel is fully booked.
