  Nice room for the price. Cool, but no AC. We were given floor fan to help. Soft pillows. Big aiiry room. Free tea, coffee and biscuits all day. Staff register you with police. Fast wi-fi. Negaives: The water was not really hot so bathtub useless. See-through curtains which makes it hard to sleep in summer. Near a big road, but traffic not so bad in the evening. Location is a ½ hours walk from mainsigths, but lots of cheap trams makes it easy to get around. From station take tram 21 going left when standing with the back to the station. It goes rightt and then straight for about 13 minutes. When it turns left, you should get of.. Go back alont tracks, turn left, then first right. it is now on your left. Going the other way, you should take tram 3

  Nice mini hotel

  I stayed in Ekaterina Hotel from June 28th till July 3rd, 2017. Already at the airport I felt this would be a nice holiday. Compared to the airports in Moscow, Ekaterina airport was more quiet. Next to the baggage claim I booked a taxi, which waited outside when I had managed myself out. Trip to city center took 15-20 minutes. Check-in was fast, she knew my name before I told the reseptionist - but also because she doesn't get that many Norwegian guests, I guess.. Bed was good, shower was good. Breakfast was different from other hotels, but I liked it very much, it was Russian-style breakfast. Wifi was fast enough - streaming a movie was no problem. Almost all of the staff I was in contact with, spoke English. Polite, friendly and helpful. To the city center it is about 15 minutes walk. Next to the hotel is also a supermarket I visited some times. What I had an issue with, was how easily you could hear through the door. The noise the doors to the rooms made when they were glosed by other guests was very loud, and woke me up every time at night. It seemed like no guests who lived there did care about it, or tried to be a little silent. Of course, everything that happened in the staircase, cleaning, walking or talking, could easily be heard.
