Great valueThe hotel is very clean and breakfast was plentiful and wholesome. The battlefields of Gallipoli are close by so everything is within easy reach by car. The local ferry is also close if you want to visit the ruins at Troy. My only complaint would be that there were no clean towels put out after our first night but everything else was great, everything worked well, the shower always had hot water and the Wi-Fi was excellent.

Perfect for a pilgrimage to GallipoliWe were on a pilgrimage to the battlefields of Gallipoli when we stayed at this lovely little hotel in Eceabat. It is perfectly placed if you are on a self-drive trip to the Dardanelles. You can park very handy to the hotel and be perfectly positioned for a quick drive over to Anzac Cove or down to Cape Helles without having to drive through the centre of town every time. I know many people opt to stay over the strait at Cannakale. That would be fine for a one-day visit, I suppose, but if you plan on an extended exploration of Gallipoli it will save you a lot of time to stay at Eceabat instead. It cuts out the ferry ride back and forth every day, although the ferry ride is certainly a very cheap and efficient one and well worth experiencing at least once for the views it offers. We opted to do a quick side trip down to Troy so had occasion to cross over to Cannakale for that. Otherwise, however, I was so glad we stayed on the Eceabat side and could set off quickly each morning to the battlefield areas. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is offered each morning and you can sit on a rooftop terrace and enjoy the morning sun. There are plenty of little grocery stores handy to the hotel and plenty of cafes and restaurants just along the block. The beds were comfortable, the showers had plenty of hot water and the neighbourhood was peaceful and quiet. I would definitely return to Hotel Ejder and look forward to doing so.

Good value and clean, but very basic. The room was very basic. We had a fairly small room, there wasnt much room to move around. It was however clean. The hotel is in a good location. Breakfast wasnt great. Price wise it was pretty affordable for 2 people.

Good place for one nightGood accommodation conditions and a pleasant breakfast (on the hotel's terrace). Nothing more to say... but I recommend to put some mosquito nets on windows. Near the ferryboat harbor. It's OK for transit.

Awful place to stay. Not reccommededOn arrival. Payment asked for upfront. Not normal pratice in Turkey. Room was poorly set out and cramped Lack of toiletries and cables hanging from ceiling. No staff around or available throughout our stay Breakfast we were informed 8.00am. No one there at set time and no food.Waited 30 mins then woman appeared we finally got somthing little to eat after waiting 40 mins. The butter was rank and choice of food very limited and looked old and unappetizing.Food from previous day? I suspect? Left hungry and very unhappy with rooms and service. No one at reception thorouhout our stay or on departure. Left room key on reception desk. No help from anyone to assist with baggage or to help one of our party who is disabled. Never stay there again. One of the worsed hotels I have stayed in in my 31 years of travelling in Turkey and staying in hotels. This place is the pits
