ALIA

Fantastic family getawayA great holiday for a family of 8. Something for everyone. The hotel is clean, friendly, and welcoming. The staff are all very friendly, special mention to waiter Ahmet who was so helpful and reserved us a table in the restaurant every morning and night so we could sit together and even decorated it on our last morning- a lovely man. There is something for everyone here. The water slides are great for the kids, the island being a real highlight. We have stayed at Splash 5 years ago and loved having the island then so were happy to come again and stay in this sister property which was equally as good and closer to the island. The maids were lovely and left towel art on the beds each day which the kids loved. The food is good, varied - not as much choice as usual due to coronavirus and has to be served to you but I am vegetarian and have one fussy child and none of us struggled to find enough to eat. The pirate ship boat trip was a real highlight as was the market - which they now have outside the hotel as well as in Alanya. Great fun to do a bit of haggling and well worth it, got some great souvenirs and gifts. Overall a fantastic family holiday and so happy to get away during current times.

Family holidayA family of 7, mainly kids. This was the BEST hotel, sooo many slides and pools. The hotel has its own pools and slides and then there is also a part where all eftalia hotels are joint together with a lot of slides, free waffle stands, free chicken wigs, burgers chips etc stands, ice cream stands, bread stand, water bumper cars. There is sooo much to do you never get bored. However just one downfall, although everything was great for kids, the entertainment was a little inappropriate for children, they did have a mini disco every day however it was repetitive and the kids didnt enjoy it as much as there was no proper entertainment for them because after the mini disco everything was more or less inappropriate so we had to leave. Other than that, it was amazing!

In middle of nowhere -Staff pleasant, rooms basic, food appauling, bars and snacks rules confusing. One bar for some drinks another bar for different drinks sometimes a good 5 min walk away from each other. The resort was in the middle of nowhere and it was over 250 lira to get to the nearest town of Alanya and back. We were given this resort as a last minute change to our booking as the original hotel we had booked had not reopened.

Some people should stay home!Returned from a 10 day holiday in Eftalia Village hotel, a group of 3 couples ranging in ages from 50 to 21, so quite an range of expectations and preferences and the only thing we can find to complain about is the lack of fans in the pool bar & outdoor area of the restaurant!!! Hotel rooms: Basic = yes! Clean = yes! Comfy = yes! For the amount of time we spend in the room, this is all we ever ask for!! Large room, lots of sleeping options (so would be great for a family too) Could they have a refurbishment? Yes of course, and yes this would help with the repairs that have been done over time, and also help with the minor details that most people see as dirt. Food: Was there a full English = No - we were not in England! Was there sticky toffee pudding = No - we were not in England Was there chips = yes! Most days but they have to please the masses!!! The food was delicious, it was always hot, fresh and well cooked. There was plenty of choice and lots of variety each day. I would say, if you cant find something to eat here, then stay at home! Staff: Pleasant Friendly Efficient Helpful And all of this whilst having to wear masks all of the time. To be honest Im not sure how any of them do it with how rude the vast majority of guests were with them. Yes, they are there to serve you, but No, they are not slaves! Please remember to take your manners with you on holiday guys, I was shocked with how many people didnt seem to have packed theirs during our stay. Also, being polite goes a long way with the team, it means youre greeted with a massive smile (you could tell from their eyes, since their masks covered their mouths) and they look after you because you appreciate them! Drinks: Yes they are served in small glasses - but some of our party took larger glasses of their own and they happily filled them for us. There is a fairly limited stock of all inclusive drinks, but you can pay to have cocktails or premium drinks - pretty standard for an all inclusive really. Pools: Something for everyone really! Loved the main pool by the bar personally but if we had taken kids the kids pool would be great. The island was an added bonus but we were happiest at the resort COVID safe? - Everywhere was well cleaned. From top to bottom. - We were temperature checked twice a day - All staff always wore masks & gloves and these were changed regularly - All cutlery was individually packaged and this was given to you on arrival to the restaurant - buffet was served and there was Perspex glass in front of all items so that there was no risk of anything going on the food - hand sanitizer readily available In summary, we felt very safe and secure during our time here. It was almost a case of corona who? It is the best hotel weve ever been to? No! Was it good value for money? Yes! Would we come back? Yes but not for a couple of years just down to other plans
