  location is perfect

  the best thing in this hotel is the location. close to the street. the stuff in the hotel are very nice and generous. the rooms are clean. sometimes it was a bit noisy but thats because its on the street i realy recommend this place.

  Great Hotel

  Stayed at Efi for 11 nights from 5th July to 16th July and was so pleased with it. It is a minute walk from the strip and no more than 10 for the beach. The rooms were plain but that's all you need if you don't plan on spending your days/nights in the hotel. The owner is really friendly and the hotel was surprisingly secure, Efi is actually located on a side road off beach road. Strongly recommend and would definitely stay again if i go back to Malia.

  Hotel Experience

  I would not recommend Efi Hotel for a family holiday stay. My wife and I stayed their in August 2016, we paid for a room with a balcony which we never received and ended up in an insecure room facing a night club which went on to 5 o'clock in the morning. They advertise a swimming pool but unfortunately there is no water in it. The Wi Fi also does not work. If you require a fridge it costs 5 euro's a day In fact anything you require will cost you money. This hotel is badly needing updating it's a place to go if you are desperate. My Advice AVOID. Best thing about the accommodation it was not far from Illios bar & restaurant which was great value great staff and only 2 minutes down the strip.

  Friendly owner, very fair and helpful. Hotel room was immaculately clean, all white bedding and dark brown wood furniture, very impressed with the size of the room/balcony. Bathroom was stuffy but most are abroad, the shower isn't great and there was a hole in our wall which lead to the next room (I'm presuming as you could see light), so it was quite noisy. The cleaner came everyday and didn't touch any of our things unless she placed them neater. THERE IS NO POOL! But you can go across the road to Malia Mare hotel which allows you to use it's facilities. Didn't try food so can't comment. The hotel owner helped us find things and asked us about our transfers - did also offer us a lift to the airport. This is a nice quiet hotel just off of the main strip, would go back here if I stayed in Malia again. This is the second time I've been to Malia would defo stay here again. Perfect for couples/friends. OBVIOUSLY NOT FAMILIES as the area is loud but the hotel itself was very quite. Very impressed with the price we paid, would recommend!
