Relaxing breakLovely stay at this house and would love to come back. Was welcomed with a cup of tea after check in. Really amazing cooked breakfast too with a lovely selection. The most enjoyed was the brandy compote with dried fruits and cream. The hotel doesnt have a bar, so no lunch available. Worth checking out pubs nearby.

Warm welcome and very good foodI stayed at Ees Wyke with my daughter for three nights for a long week-end break. Oerall, I am happy with the stay. In terms of the positives, I would like to mention a very friendly and engaging atmosphere and great food. The owner who also I believe makes dinners is a very good chef. In terms of the negatives, I did not like the decor; it was too dated for my liking.

Great food - good locationGenerally a nice stay in the Lakes District with nice food and still retaining ample portions. The room had a nice double aspect outlook and was reasonably spacious, though storage space was limited with no desk space and limited power points, for those who need to recharge their devices. The WiFi signal was strong throughout the accommodation, though suffered from slow rural broadband speed, which often meant that your mobile data would achieve greater speeds. There was a great selection for breakfast achieving both great quality and good quantity and well cooked.

Lake District at its beststruggling through Covid-times we found this magical place with his humorful owner (and best cook i know so far)...we wondered about Hobbits had to come out if we look over the fairytale landscape with rabbits playing on the grounds and sheep wandering in the soft hills. On top of the beautiful scenery and house with its lovely, warm and very clean rooms we had the best catering in an elegant surrounding, accompanied with laughter and a warm feeling of "home for a while". We ´ll come back for sure...and if you really want a luxury and unique experience...go there!

Wonderful Ees WykeAbsolutely wonderful one night stay at Ees Wyke early December with my mother. Everything was perfect the room cosy with beautiful views. Evening meal was fantastic and a delicious breakfast the next morning. All the staff are very pleasant. This was our second visit and we will definitely return hopefully sometime very soon. We had an extra bonus it snowed winter wonderland.
