  Lovely motel, great small touches

  It's the little things that makes this motel outstanding. Like the towel provided so you can wipe the frost from your car windows on a frosty morning. Lovely, New & clean. The bed was extremely soft. Will be back

  One of Tamworth's Finest ...

  As I almost always stay with family when visiting Tamworth, I don't usually need motel accommodation. However, due to a large family gathering, a number of us, coincidentally as it turned out, chose to stay at the Edward Parry. What a great choice this was! Not only is it the closest motel to my relative's house, I think, judging by competitors I noticed when I went for a walk one day, it is one of the best. It is spotlessly clean, modern - ie, either refurbished recently or newer - well appointed, and extremely comfortable. The beds are super comfy, and I didn't even need my own pillow (I usually take my own, as so many motel pillows are truly awful). Location is very quiet, unlike many motels along Goonoo Goonoo Road (New England Highway) which are affected by the large number of heavy trucks turning at a busy roundabout nearby most hours of the day. The only criticism I had is the absence of a microwave oven in my unit, but hostess Donna explained that they are promoting their own menu (meals delivered to rooms as there is no onsite restaurant); which actually looks great! Hosts Donna and Vaughn are delightful, helpful and friendly; a chat to Donna one afternoon was like chatting to a friend. Although not the cheapest motel in a rural city crowded with accommodation options (due primarily to the popularity of the annual Country Music Festival in January), the "Edward" is certainly not expensive and IMHO, worth the little extra. I highly recommend this motel, and would certainly stay there (and try the inhouse menu!) if I require accommodation in beautiful Tamworth again. I'd actually score it 4.5 stars. Oh yeah, when I was there Covid19 handling procedures were in place, and appeared to be carefully adhered to.

  Excellent Motel.

  Stayed for 12 nights, brother & myself in 2 bedroom apartment. Donna & Vaughn were excellent hosts, went above & beyond making sure we were looked after. Great apartment, had everything we needed. They also do meals to rooms which is great after a day out. Highly recommend.

  Excellent self contained accommodation

  We stayed here on our recent holiday and were pleasantly surprised by how much this property had thought of little details such as washing powder sachets, shampoo and conditioner, soap, a clothes line, among other things. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was very compact and very comfortable. The management were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back

  Edward Parry Motel

  Edward Parry Motel was such a wonderful place to stay for our family!!! The staff were lovely with exceptional service, you even get a complimentary drink on arrival. The room was wonderful! The beds were big and comfy. The room was nice and spacious with lots of amenities and a big bathroom. The room was very clean and is definitely up to COVID safe standards. Breakfast was available also and such a great price! Definitely recommend staying here!
