  I will not stay at this hotel ever again. The toilet clogged with plunger just being given at the door to take care of ourselves. Also jacuzzi did not work. They didn't offer any refund for the inconvenience.

  Nice Get away

  Would highly recommend the cottages in the back, we had our two handicapped shitzus with us and it was perfect, would stay here again, Alittle pricey, but its well worth the money to be comfortable, Thanks Edgewater for making our little Family Happy

  Excellent escape from the busyness of life

  The whole entire staff was very accommodating during our stay. My family and I used the common area to enjoy the many board games that they had available. The hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy the beach.

  Bad room condition.

  The room wasn't over all too bad upon first glance but for 200 a night there is no reason that there should have been insulation on the floor, and insulation that came out of the heating vents. There was also small pieces of trash on the floor in front of the bathroom, and stains on the sheets of the bed. Over all it would be great as long as they clean up the rooms really good and make sure their vents don't have insulation in them (because I'm pretty sure that's dangerous).

  Disgusting, old, reeked of smoke!!

  Based on many of the reviews I read before reserving, I thought this would be a great place to stay. The only pro about this place is the front desk staff was nice both mornings. However, check-in was supposed to be at 4:00pm and we couldnt get into our room until almost 6:00pm. The people cleaning the rooms seemed to be in no hurry at all even though everyone was literally standing around waiting or sitting in their cars. I expected it to be a little dated but outdate decor and furniture is totally different than a room just being grimy and gross. The room was not fully cleaned as there was old toothpaste and ashes left in our sink. The carpet was so grimy it almost felt sticky when walking on it barefooted. We reserved a non-smoking room but were given a smoking room. The whole room reeked of smoke. Even the air coming out of the air conditioner vent smelled like smoke. The cloth arm chair had lots of gross looking stains on it. And the one lamp in the room had what looked like (hopefully) juice or koolaid splatter on the shade. It honestly looked more like blood smear that had be wiped off. I was even scared to sleep in the bed for fear the sheets werent clean. My husband and I literally slept on top of the comforter. The lighting was super dim too. I would rather have paid another $50 to stay somewhere much nicer. I will never stay here again. I have no idea what motel these people on here were reviewing but it couldnt have been this disgusting place!!!
