Feel like homeI know Edenroc hotel through a friend from Philippine, currently teaching English in Ho Chi Minh city. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport, it located in a small and busy street but hotel is really stand out. It feels more like home when I first enter the front yard, the staffs were polite and helpful. The room is nice and clean, the bathroom looks flawless. The manager there is super friendly. She speaks English perfectly. She first showed me the direction to the restaurant nearby but she ended up took me there and we had lunch together. That restaurant name Juliette Garden on Le Quang Dinh street, about ten minutes walk from the hotel, and Wow! that hidden spot is simply blew my mind away! beautiful Koi pond and the garden inside with a nice relaxing music. I ordered the Beef-stew with the fresh bake baguette and it was amazing. The mix tropical juice with lemongrass, cucumber, and ginger...was refreshing too. They have a big menu but too bad I couldn't try them all. I booked a day tour to Can Tho the next day from the hotel and I liked it. My last day was just exploring the central in district 1. I would recommend this hotel, not so far from the city anyway. It costs me less than 120,000 VND by taxi( 5 USD) to get there. Otherwise, you can just walk around the area, you will see lots of coffee shops and small restaurants within short distance. There is a nice little spa for a good massage too but for ladies only, sorry. I would come back!

A home away from homeAfter planning to stay for 4 or 5 days we ended up extending to more than twice that long. It's located far enough out of the tourist zone to meet local people, but close enough to be a short (inexpensive) cab ride from all the sights. We like to walk so we strolled to the Post Office area a few times during our stay. There are plenty of good restaurants, food stands, stores, bakeries and services nearby as well as open and covered markets for browsing and sampling. The room was very comfortable, clean, and convenient and there's a nice roof terrace if you want to bring up a coffee or take-out and enjoy a view. But the best part is the staff. They took care of us like we were family, bringing us very affordable room service, helping us with laundry, directions, taxis, smart shopping and restaurant suggestions, language help, and excellent travel arrangements for tours and for our bus trip to our next destination. They even had one staff member accompany our taxi to the bus station on her scooter to make sure our tickets were accepted and we were shown to the correct bus. They were all very friendly, helpful, and kind. Thuy even surprised us with unexpected complimentary dessert one afternoon. She and her coworkers made our first visit to HCMC a very pleasant success. We recommend them with full confidence.

So soCentrally located. Modern rooms. Staff dont really speak english. Had hard time communicating. What I dont like is that we are in foreign country and its very suggested to bring your passport at all times and they had to get our passport as a security deposit for the room and only gave us a scanned copy which we're not comfy of getting outside the city without our passports. They should've got atleast a scurity deposit in a monetary form or a credit car which most hotels ask prior to check in. This hotel is okay but will not really recommend this though.

the staff made the holiday!this hotel is very good value but further out from the city than we expected. no big problem as the taxis are cheap and reliable. at first we had a problem with food as there are no english menu;s in the area. until we discovered an excellant restaraunt just opposite. i needed medicine and went to twenty chemists but had no luck, when i returned to the hotel i told the receptionist my story and when i returned from eating, they told me that the manager had driven for an hour and bought it for me! how's that for service?

Nice hotel for a familyWe traveled as a five person family and stayed here for couple of nights. As a standard hotel, rooms were very clean and services were good. The hotel staff was very helpful and helped us on few questions and problems we had without a doubt. If you need to stay in Ho Chi Minh for few nights before traveling to another place, I'd totally recommend this hotel. There is only one issue: there are two streets with same name and we ended up on wrong area at first time. So give exact details about the hotel location for taxi when traveling to the hotel.
