  Fantastic hotel

  Lovely friendly environment every need catered for with no problems. spotlessly clean and comfortable. Well set up bedrooms exactly as advertised with all you would expect in plentiful supply. Fantastic breakfast even for the fussiest (as we are) highly recommended and will be returning.

  lovely place

  Stayed here for three nights. Room had a very comfortable bed. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was so good. Staff are lovely. Josie is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Well worth a visit..

  Brilliant stay

  We arrived 2 hours early as we were visiting Pleasureland for the day and our room was ready. Our rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fab and had lots to choose from. Will definatly stay again if visiting Southport.

  Another excellent stay at Edendale

  We've been annually for many years now and have just returned from another excellent, long weekend in Southport. It's a lovely seaside town and Edendale is faultless. Located in a quiet part of town, which makes for an undisturbed sleep, Edendale is well located, a short, pleasant walk to the promenade or to the shops and restaurants of Lord Street. Or the Imperial just round the corner is very handy for good evening meals. Hesketh Park is also close by for a quiet stroll. Very friendly welcome as always and spotless, newly refurbished bedrooms, plus an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice make this a perfect place to stay. Covid precautions have been carefully considered and removed any concerns we had about staying at the moment, without interfering with another very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to coming back again next year.

  Really Lovely Place - Completely Happy!!

  3 of us stayed here in September 2020. A lovely guest house all round, and spotlessly clean. Josie was very friendly and helpful - she made this stay a home from home. Breakfast was great - delicious and filling. Edendale has an excellent central location, close to Southport town centre. It was perfect for our needs - a treat for my sister on the weekend of her birthday. We will definitely go back there again!
