  Excellent Service

  I was traveling in May which is definitely off season for the the Ligurian Coast with 2 boys (3&1) + dog and by car. I found the service excellent. German was more useful than English most of the time. Very attentive and they went out of their way to both find a good seat for us in the restaurant for us and to minimize the impact to couples that didn't want to be distracted by two crazy kids. Menu recommendations turned out well. Best wine on the menu was the Ruche (for those that like stronger reds). The 2nd bed was a convertible chair that did make a decent single bed, the 3rd bed was standard play-n-pack style crib for the 1-year old. I liked the bed, it was firm, but not overly so and fine for 2 adults and 2 little boys to nap on. View was of the water, tile floors, decent closets. The grounds are very nice, the pool is not heated but was usable in May, staff puts out cushions on swings when it is a dry morning. Grounds are kept in good condition. There is sand for walking on to the beach chairs but the actual beach and water is rocky (which also make it clear) the breakers that keep the water good for swimming are also excellent for tide-pooling. Bother the properties next store do not have private beaches so there is more walking access and a little snack stand. The creek emptying into the ocean makes a nice spot for sandcastles. The Hotel staff were good about dealing with small kids, but there is little actual support for them at the Hotel (2 little swings). Older kids were playing mostly in the pool or tried a little bit of ball on the small stones. Parking is in the front area, then you need to give your keys to the staff to re-arrange to be able to fit enough cars in. To get the main boardwalk of Diano Marina there is a short walk on narrow sidewalks until you cross the bridge and get to the Marina. Very pleasant Hotel nice area, good weather easy access to walking and cycling.

  Time travel

  This is a very nice place. The location is great for a walk to downtown Diano Marina or San Bartolomeo and Cervo. The walk to Imperia is also very nice (5km one way). No car needed once you arrive the hotel. Its right at the beach with terrible main road SS1 in the back and the sea in the front. If you get a room looking out to the sea then everything is perfect. Very friendly staff, nice decoration (time travel back to the 70s), very well maintained, super clean and good breakfast. The croissants are excellent. The hotel bar area is very nice and is a good place to be if you feel your room is too small and its cold outside. Diego Marina has some great eating places that are open even in the dead season and these are the ones you can trust to get an excellent meal. There is only thing I would change and that is the pricing of the mini bar. But this a general comment that applies to most hotels. Why not provide the items at cost? It would increase the refill rate and create a better feeling, add convenience and increase comfort level. Anyway, we want to come back soon.

  Italian love

  Two girlfriends and I stayed at Eden Park this August 2018, we could not fault one thing. The service was awesome, the location to town was great, the generosity of the friendly staff made our stay very special. The rooms are basic and kept clean. We had our own beach chairs and umbrellas. Also the pool was good even though we were at the beach most of the time. The food was very special, every meal was amazing. Thanks to ALL the staff for our amazing time at Hotel Eden Park and welcoming our Aussie friends in to dine with us for lunch. They LOVED your hotel as much as we did.

  A gem in turquoise

  The hotel is right on the beach with its own garden leading to it. Nicely decorated with Italian futurist art and the rooms in turquoise colour make you feel at the Mediterranean even on a cloudy November day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast on a terrace looking over the sea was nice too. Imperia is only a few minutes drive away and Monaco less than an hour. But that's a different world from cosy Diano Marina.

  A green stay at the beach

  The Hotel has very clean and well maintained rooms with extraordinary view on hotel garden and sea. The stuff and manager are friendly and helpful. The garden is a real oasis with direct access to the hotel beach. We're enjoyed the relaxing days
