  Honeymoon

  This is the place to be for honeymoon.I had the most exciting and memorable time in this hotel.Quiet environment,spacious room with balcony overlooking the ocean.Bathtub/jacuzzi in which i relaxed with my husband.Delicious meals and very friendly staff. I will come back for my anniversary.

  Well appointed

  Loved the large rooms and furnishings. The sea views are great from most rooms. The meal service was prompt. The place is newish and everything seems to work perfectly. The landscaping is great finishing with a nicely designed pool. Will certainly be going back.

  Unpleasant surprise

  I decided to choose these apartments instead of the usual hotel. What a huge mistake. As we arrived, we noticed that the pool area was still under construction and even after requesting some privacy to swim, the management bluntly said we could go ahead and swim anyway. Now, there were about 10 construction workers around, banging away with hammers near the pool.How can one swim in that environment? Anyway, so we decided to go to the beach but lo and behold; the beach was rocky and had lots of sea weed. It was not the soft, sandy beaches that I am used to finding at the coast.To top it all, the bed was as hard as a rock and since we had booked rooms via a travel agent, it was too late to cancel our bookings. And last but not least, the so-called water sports that were advertised on their website were literally non-existent!

  Poor Hotel

  My family stayed at the Eden Resort for about 2 hours. We had booked the penthouse suite for two nights for about $800 a night. The room was beautiful, but the hotel had no food. They could not make us a mixed drink, a hamburger, a sandwich, or even ice cream. They could not make a margarita, a cosmo, or even a pina colada. When I asked for rum and coke, the brought a coke and shot of rum. My two year old son had no food, and when we asked them to make us a cheese sandwich, they responded that they had no slices of cheese. We immediately checked out, drove to the Baobob Resort in South Coast Mombasa. To the hotel's credit at least, they did not charge us for the room or for the cancellation (which of course, I would have refused to pay). The hotel itself was beautiful as long as you don't mind fasting while you stay there. There is no beach access from the hotel. Furthermore air conditioning in the room did not work, but they were attempting to fix it when we checked out. The hotel knew of our trip and we had booked it a full four months in advance.

  Very nice place I have been in Mombasa one of the best hotels in Kenya very friendly works good gestures clean and well organized the food is good the break fast is ok very lovely place to be the rooms are big enough
