    Great location, staff, and breakfast

    This beautiful hotel is located off the beach in very quiet grounds that are beautifully maintained! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beach is nearby along with a great hiking trail to Apollonia. But what puts this place over the top is the wonderful staff! Six of us arrived in late-September while the weather was changing expecting a 3 night stay. Unfortunately, the wind came up so our stay was extended by a couple of days. Since we were the only guests in the hotel we thought we would have to relocate. Fortunately the staff worked a few extra days to accommodate our needs! On top of that, they fixed a wonderful breakfast for us each day! As mentioned by others, this is what is meant by Greek hospitality!

    Great Staff

    Accomodation is basic. However, more than adequate if you just want somewhere to sleep and make basic meals. The apartments are kept very clean and tidy by the wonderful staff who are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The is a small hill to climb if you're heading in to town for the bus, however, that was the only downside. Town is only 10 minutes away by bus. There is a nice flat road bottom left of accomodation that takes you to the beach, about 10 minutes walk. If we were to come back to Mykonos we would stay again. Thank you staff for making this place so nice and welcoming.

    The apartment held all 5 of us but we couldnt get our suitcases into the bedrooms due to the very steep thin spiral staircase.The kitchen counter was not wiped off but the rest of the place was clean and met our needs except NO hot water for anyone! After checking out the second day, we went to the beach as our flight was later that day, Irene let us use the garden hose to rinse off, she held our bags in her office, let us have towels and change our clothes. It was comical as there were a large group of 20 year olds watching us hose ourselves down! At least we were clean for our flight. I honestly booked this without much research as we only needed one night, low cost. I was not surprised and it was fine.

    overview

    Neat little place to stay, very clean. Not ideal for people with walking difficulties, quite hilly with quite a few steps. Not much in the way of shops, beach close by(down hill) plenty of restaurants.

    GET AN AIRBNB, OR HOTEL

    I was in Greece this summer in July and my initial reservation was basically fraud. I used booking.com to book what i thought was a decent place for the price. $722.49 for Edem Garden residence. I was picked up from the airport with what I thought to be a free shuttle but the entire time it was a sales pitch. When you haven't slept for 24 hours and the woman Joanna wouldn't stop pitching activities to do its a bit frustrating. Then the accommodations were a smelly room and the bed was horrible, squeaky to be exact. I tried to find the staff but there was no one in the office and no staff on site. A Motel 6 is like the Ritz compared to this place. I managed to book Kamari hotel and went there for a couple days and an airbnb after. Both were Exceptionally better. I have asked to be refunded by both Azzuro Travel and Edem Garden Residence and this has not happened. Instead Azzuro Travel has said I'm threatening them when I mentioned writing a review. Joanna claims the LEGAL DEPARTMENT has been notified. This Department is Non-Existent. This is not the way to treat someone that comes there for a vacation. This are not the only place to stay in Mykonos. This is not ethical business practices.
