  Great budget hotel

  Also stayed as part of a Neilson ski package (but we didn't get a bath in either of our rooms!). Great location, just had to walk around corner to be at lifts. Very clean & warm. Food good with enough choices to suit everyone in our family. Everything we needed for a ski holiday, would recommend.

  Lovely friendly hotel close to lifts

  My sister and I have just come back from Italy. This hotel is basic but the rooms have everything you need. There is a safe for spare money and passports, you could fit cameras and iPads in if required. There is no tea making facilities though so it may be good to take your own. They only seem to serve lemon tea so I bought some English t bags and milk at the local shop and they served me hot water. My sister is a vegetarian, and if the menu didn't have this option, she was able to write what she wanted on it - the cheese and mushroom omelette was delicious although the vegetable omelette they had on the menu on our last day was nothing like we expected. - very heavy and like a very thick flan! The hotel is a short walk to the lifts and shops. It has its own ski room. Our room was very quiet although we were at the back.

  Wonderful Ski holiday February half term

  Stayed at the Edelweiss in February 2015 in a room with a balcony and views over the mountain. Very quiet, good quality linnen, always very clean, great shower. Perfect food: delicious fresh pasta with different sauces every day, mains were excellent, their stroganoff to die for! Cakes and icecream were delicious. Sometimes we even shared one main course to save space for pudding - and were offered a cheese plate just in case we were still hungry. Very considerate and efficient ladies serving food. Every morning the smell of freshly baked bread created a lovelly feel of staying in someones house rather then hotel. Children loved the pool room, we often played games in a room next door. Bar area with wood burning stove - very cosy. Lifts 5 minutes slow walk, there was a boot room in the hotel but I would hire heated locker just a few meters up the road at the ski hire place - 10 Euros for 4 people.

  100m from slopes.

  Good hotel. Easy access to ski lifts. Shops within 50m. Good wholesome food and plenty of it. Staff friendly. Nice bar and a table tennis room. Rooms and corridors have tiled floors so the noise travels! Rooms comfy and enough space. Had to turn heating down! - Don't forget to use the window shutters. You could ask for a room with a bath/shower if you don't just want a shower.

  Ruined my trip

  I booked this hotel on November 4, 2018, for one night on May 27, 2019. They took my money and I received the confirmation email. On May 27th, I drove up winding mountain roads in a driving rain storm and found that the hotel was closed for the season. Seven months, and no one had the simple courtesy to let me know that I needed to look for another place. Now I'm spending my time trying to chase the money they took from me over seven months ago. But that's not the worst part. This entire trip to Italy was for the purpose of catching the queen stage of the Giro d' Italia. I booked seven months in advance because lodging gets tight as the Giro approaches. We missed the stage, of course, and we wasted both the primary purpose of the trip and a valuable day of our vacation. All due to the thoughtlessness of this hotel. Thanks a lot. Avoid this hotel. And never believe the itinerary confirmation from Travelocity telling you there's no need to confirm the reservation.
