  Good stopover for touring

  On our motorcycle tour, we found the hotel and was pleased to have a private garage to park our bikes for our overnight stay. The hotel is in the centre of Mauriac and on our arrival were warmly greeted an shown to our small but comfortable room which was clean and quiet despite being on the main road. We eat in the hotel restaurant which was excellent value offering a good range of dishes which included a vegetarian option. The staff were friendly and efficient and overall a good experience. Breakfast was typical and with good coffee met our needs for the day. A good stopover hotel, for exploring this lovely area.

  Delightful Hotel

  I stayed at this chic hotel Easter 2016. The owners were delightful and kind. the room was very clean and decorated in chic French boutique style. Breakfast very good very fresh and coffee excellent. I would definitely stay gain and have recommended to my friends.

  Enjoyable stay

  We were here as a group of 16 cyclists for 2 days. Hotel is situated on a main road which during the day was quite busy, but traffic noise was not an issue overnight. On street parking is available and there is a large private garage available for bikes. We had a room on the front, fairly basic but it met our needs. Public areas very pleasant. The owner was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was excellent, wine good value. Waiting staff friendly too. Breakfast was good, though choice fairly limited. Nice to have fresh fruit salad for a change. Coffee was out of a machine, but excellent. Mauriac is not the most exciting of French towns, but it is surrounded by the most fantastic scenery.

  Un hotel para estar si vas de pasada en ruta por los pueblos franceses

  La atención de la señora fue muy buena. Se aceptan perros y pudimos interactuar con su perro. La habitación que nos toco fue pequeña y daba a un pequeño balcón hacia la calle. La señora de recepción te orienta donde visitar en este pequeño pueblo. Hay varios negocios como de panaderia, cafeterías y restaurantes Es también difícil subir con maletas pesadas a las habitaciones pues debes subir una escalera antes de tomar el ascensor. Es solo un hotel para dormir y estar

  Overnight Stay

  We selected this hotel from the Logis De France list of hotels with a three pot rating for its restaurant and a two chimney rating for the hotel. We were disappointed with the hotel room. It and the stairs and corridors needed significant refurbishment. The equipment in both the bedroom and the bathroom were in need of replacement. The bed, on the other hand, was very comfortable. The room was equipped with a mobile room heater. We did not have breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant - there didnt appear to be many alternatives in the town. The food was average quality and a rating of two pots would have been more appropriate. The Patronne provided the service in the restaurant and the Patron prepared the food in the kitchen. We both had the 29 menu and a carafe of Bergerac Sauvignon blanc wine. The menu comprised entrée, main course, cheese and desert. Although the patronne and patron were welcoming and the restaurant service was good we would not revisit this establishment.
