  OK for One Night Stopover

  Staff friendly and helpful, staying for 1 night. Clean and tidy, though had a musty smell in the room. Bed comfortable, bathroom clean. No lockbox or tea/coffee, though available at reception. Fridge, microwave, iron, TV. Value for money.

  Inexpensive-reasonable choice for a short stay

  We did a quick overnight, bed was acceptable but not for the picky, air conditioning worked well. Clean reasonably well maintained. You get a bit more than you pay for. On the slow end of town easily accessible to universities.

  One Night Stay

  One has to drive a little way from the highway to get there. Good enough for a one night. The hotel and furniture is old and needs an upgrade. The hotel is not handicapped accessable. Breakfast is included. I did not have breakfast as breakfast was just bread to make toast and mini muffins. The room was clean and had an iron, ironing board TV, microwave fridge and hairdryer. The person that checked me out in the morning was very pleasant, the one that ckecked me in the night before was not.

  An ethical establishment

  My wife and I stayed over while looking at real estate. I went ahead and paid for the room not realizing or remembering my wife had made earlier reservation. Weeks later I received 2 bills on my credit card for the stay. When I contacted the hotel about the charges , the person at the front desk immediately gave credit for the reservation (which was a higher rate) for us. Just on ethics alone, I will stay there again!

  Worst stay ever

  Generally I would not stay at the EconoLodge but due to lack of hotel vacancies we decided to take a chance As soon as we walked in I knew this was not going to be pleasant , the room was very filthy , very outdated , bed felt like a piece of plywood , and floor was extremely dirty , I would not take my shoes off. I mean it was so bad I did not allow my pup to walk on the floor. I mean , if you are going to charge me $189.00 a night I expect to at least be clean. I will never ever stay at any Econo lodge , rather sleep in the car.
