Decent room at a reasonable price

There are plenty of hotel options in Beaver and this is a good one. It's nothing much to look at, but the room was very comfortable and quiet. The price was okay - $50 - but it was $45 on the internet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The wifi in my room wasn't working and they gave me another option for access. They always greeted me with a hello as well. The complimentary continental breakfast isn't much - store bought muffins, bread, cereal, coffee, and juice - but it's fine. Definitely somewhere I would stay again.

    Great one-night stay

Stayed one night while on a road trip, I called one hour before I arrived to arrange for the room. Decent room, great price, a little off the beaten path, so very quiet, and they have smoking rooms. Clean, well maintained rooms, comfortable beds. Wifi can be quite slow. Staff is friendly.

    Good stay

I have stayed here before and went back because they take the Cats. There is a $10. charge for each pet. They are just a mile off the interstate and located close to a couple places to eat. This is a plus as there is no breakfast on site. The hotel serves its purpose providing a comfortable bed and a good night's sleep. Though the room is carpeted, I found the carpet to be unusually clean! The rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave as well as a coffee maker. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The exterior entrances make it easy to unload and load. A go to for me and the Cats when staying in Beaver.

    Good price, bad nights sleep

After driving 13 hours, I found a great price for this motel. After looking up some decent reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to give it a shot. This motel is a couple of miles from hwy 15. We had to turn on our GPS, luckily so because their sign was not lit and we would have drove right by it...in retrospect, we should have! We drove into their almost empty lot and saw their filthy office windows. Windows that surrounded their two tiny tables placed in case the 4 people staying there wanted breakfast. Breakfast, hahaha! We had a hard time communicating with the desk clerk because of a language barrier. We asked about the ice machine and he shook his head and gave us a thin, small bag of ice cubes that were cubes at one time, then thawed, then frozen, which turned into a block of ice as hard as a river rock. My husband was able to chisel some ice off for a couple of drinks. No place to put the rest of the block of ice because the bucket they provided didnt have a bag. I guess the small bag they put that rock hard block of ice in WAS the bag, Upon entering our room, our first thought it was a cheap flip. Newer carpet with a couple of cute framed pictures on the wall. The linens on the bed looked comfortable enough and the room offered a decently comfortable chair. The furniture looked fairly new with nice sized drawers next to a desk. THEN, I sat on the very thin mattress... think mattress for sleeper sofa...and I sank! The sheets were scratchy and I all I think about is how clean the sheets really were! On each side of this terribly uncomfortable bed were nightstands each holding a lamp. Each lampshade was different, with different lightbulbs. One table held a usb charger and a non working dirty clock. Over each nightstand were empty holes. I took a picture to show I mean. There was a remote that worked by turning on the less than 1/2 dozen of non cable stations. The tv reception was the worse! I took a picture of the Beaver weather during this heat wave. To be honest, we could see it, but the the picture was super snowy...really...really? The bathroom was a joke, a tiny...super low oblong toilet with a round toilet seat! Real comfortable! The sink drain and the surrounding area is stained with age. Ive included pictures. The microwave was, I really dont know what that was. Ive included a picture, maybe someone can tell me what that actually is. The room had a fridge that worked well. The coffee pot seemed cleaned enough and included coffee, but only 1 sugar. What if both of us wanted sugar? Here is the worse part of the horrible night. Beaver is in the middle of an unusually hot period of time. The room was hot when we came in. We turned on the air conditioner. It cooled the room fairly quickly, but it wouldnt turn off. My husband tried playing with it and it turned off. The room got hot again. He played with again and got it on, when the room cooled, it turned off. But NEVER turned back on. My husband had to get up a few times during the night to turn it on! Not ideal to get a good night sleep after driving for over 13 hours! We knew exactly when dawn arrived because the tiny holes throughout the curtains called out the daylight. Even though we were far from the highway, we heard a lot of street traffic. The couple of cars that were in the lot, started up their cars and drove away, the noise these cars made sounded like they joined us in our room. I should write a more thorough review, but Im really tired from having one of the worse nights sleep Ive ever had in a motel.
