  you can find a better place to stay in forrest city Arkansas if you are travelling though the area or staying for a day or two. the toilet didn't flush right and shower barely drained in my room. area was questionably safe....

  First the positive.....we had HOT water !!!! Unfortunately they had not used the hot water to clean the bathroom floor (nor remove the dead spider & bugs as well as the live bug). There was hair and a work boot footprint on the floor as well. Mirror & faucet not clean as well. And, no stopper in the sink to hold water. Maybe we are too picky....but I would appreciate a clean room.....makes me wonder then the carpet was last vacuumed. Did not even think of trying their "continental breakfast".....wonder how dirty their kitchen was????? Don't think I would stop there again.

  Superb customer service

  Without doubt one of best hotels I researched in Ark.Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the manager (John) He was extremely friendly.I had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. John made me feel very much at home!! I don't see myself stating anywhere else but here. Rooms and continental breakfast was superb!! I'am very pleased. Thanks John at the EconoLodge!!!

  This Hotel has potential

  My wife and I stopped at this hotel on our way home. The Rate they gave me was $10 below the rate that we were quoted online (which made me and my wife quite happy) and the property was quiet. The first room we checked into was clean but the toilet had remnants of someone's diarrhea episode! I immediately went to the front office and spoke with the manager John, he moved us right away to another room that was very clean and in a better place than the first room! I went to breakfast they had and it was stocked and the waffle and coffee were great. We would stay here again!

  The location is convenient to interstate. There are several restaurants nearby. Room was adequate and looked fairly clean. Rate was economical. The hotel was located at a dead end. The road transitioned from asphalt to gravel/dirt as you approach the entrance. The front desk clerk had a small child with her who was climbing all over and was distracting.
