Not bad, not great.I picked this hotel mainly because the ratings of other hotels in the region were worse. It was like trying to pick which poison you want to do yourself in with. This hotel is located near the Interstate and is near Dexter's busiest road for restaurants and shops. When we arrived we were kind of shocked by there being only one other car in the parking lot. Yes, not a good omen. When we went to check in it was clear that this hotel was being run, and lived in by an immigrant family. They were courteous but not always attentive. The cleanliness overall was something left to be desired in the corridors and grounds overall. The hotel had a weird pungent smell in the air. Once we got to our room we found that it was in better shape then the rest of the hotel, but not by much. It did seem that the room overall was clean and everything was in order. This hotel comes with breakfast but everything being offered didn't appear appealing. Cereals were in plastic containers, and not separately packaged leading me to believe that costs were being cut. The orange juice looked off, and the package danishes looked as if they had seen better days, let alone years. It is obvious that this place is not being run properly like it should, but that is what you expect from someone trying to cut costs because they don't have the experience to run a proper hotel. I found a better hotel in Dexter, which I reviewed. This place isn't bad, but I found much better for $15 less down the road. I can't recommend this place, and I can't condemn it either, but I won't stay here again.

Good for priceGood hotel for the price. This one is good if you dont want to spend a fortune on a room, but dont want a flea bag box spring dump hotel. Truck drivers see below. Perfect for vacationers on a budget (who isnt right?). Like orhers say there is a weird pungent smell in lobby and hallways, but not in the rooms they smell good. Bed was right midway between luxurious and box spring, pillows were average to good although i bring my own pillow. Im one of those that only sleep good in my own bed, and still got good sleep here. Wall unit was an oldie but still worked good putting out just right cold air all night long. Room and everything was clean as expected. Hotel is quiet ans safe. Breakfast looked good enough to do the job once again considering price of hotel. There is a little ceasers pizza place you can walk to and lobby open until 10 at night for around 13$ you can get a pizza that was good and will feed a mom and 2 hungry boys. If solo better have a cooler and bags ready for leftovers! Truckers- this good overnight place if on budget or not much to choose on a network. Do not nose into hotel lot their truck parking is on side of road beside of hotel, enough for 2 trucks and maybe a straight truck. Dont nose into hotel lot especially if its icy you will be screwed from slope of driveway I just drove 200 ft down the street and used the hospital lot to do my backing. Didnt see any washer or dryer but didnt look. Only eat place within walk is little ceasers -see above.

ROOM DOOR WOULD NOT LOCK PROPERLY!! KEEP DRIVINGWe went to leave for dinner and closed the door, upon checking discovered it had not locked. Tried several times to get it to lock, went to front desk for clerk who stated "sometimes this happens" and he worked for a while to get it to lock correctly. REALLY - this should not be happening. Hallway smelled of smoke although the entire floor was posted NON-SMOKING. Between the smokey smell and lack of security, we got up at 5am and left... WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!!! Upon sending a review to company I received the traditional 'thank you for your input' response.. Has really gone down hill since 2017..

Not badPlace is a little run down. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Quiet...ish. Its a place to lay your head. The hallway smelled funky but thankfully it didn't smell in our room. The desk clerk tried to pretend to like people but it wasn't overly successful. But like I said its a place to lay your head

Keep driving another 6 milesClean outside, very disappointed on the quality of the hotel. It had no elevator had to carry all 5 bags up the stairs. Room was large but very ran down. Paper thin walls. The over all feel of the hotel was like Bates Motel or Vacancy. Not sure if it was actually clean or not and the bed was so uncomfortable. The room was a king suite but had nothing extra to it but the size price was 119.00 per night.
