  Loved my stay!

  Every time I visit Mackay I will always try and stay at the Econo Lodge. The management and staff are very welcoming and go above and beyond with their service. The rooms are very clean with fresh towels and linen. A short walk to the beach and a park close by. Always satisfied with the Econo Lodge.

  Great Location, Clean Rooms & Attentive Staff!

  Stayed at motel for a week & thoroughly enjoyed our time. Very clean rooms & homemade meals were very tasty! Would highly recommend this location as it is close to the beach and only 5mins to the Mackay CBD!

  Best place to stay in Mackay.

  We stayed here for 1 night on our way North and were impressed with how clean and spacious the rooms are with nice comfortable beds. Tina who runs the Lodge is very friendly and helpful and nothing is any problem to her. The in room service is excellent with great meals delivered to your room. This Lodge is in a quite location across from Quota Beach. There is undercover parking just outside your room. We were so impressed with this place that we stayed here for 2 nights on our way back home. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone who wants to stay in Mackay. We will stay her again anytime we go to Mackay.

  Clean, quiet, tidy & new

  This motel was a great find! It seems almost brand new. The rooms are modern, big, comfortable and very clean. It is in a quieter area and located across the road from the beach. The only reason it is four stars instead of five is that on both check in and check out no one was in reception and I had to wait and ring the bell a few times before any came. When the lady did appear she seemed kind of mad I had rung the bell??

  Unexpected Wonderful Surprise

  This is a wonderful little motel, a little out of the way in Mackay, but so underrated! Just a stones throw from a beautiful park with the ocean just beyond that, it is in the perfect position. A great clean modern motel, with friendly Tina to look after you. Good size room, spotlessly clean, with a view across the street to the park and beach. Could not ask for better. Meals are available onsite, but there is a resort nearby that will chargeback to your room. Very reasonable rates for this property. So good I stayed a second night on my return from Nth Queensland. I would highly recommend to stay here if in Mackay. It may not be in the city centre but it is a great motel in a terrific location.
