  Not 4 star quality - go somewhere else

  I cant see how this is 4star. My experience was as follows: 1) No scenic outdoor space, the facility is just paved. It seems like an office building that was turned into a guest house 2) Not enough lighting inside, rooms are dark 3) small pool area, uncomfortable chairs at the pool area, 4) I had a guest over and we were at the pool area, we were told to move away because other people booked the whole area, now we had to walk around the property looking for comfortable outdoor seating space 5) the staff dont understand what 4 star service means, not properly trained, although they tried their best 6) breakfast was horrible, and the waitress disappears and you have to ring a buzzer, a number of times, if you need attention 7) I wont recommend this to anyone whos looking for 4star quality.

  Incessant Highway Noise, cold water, poor facilities

  I'd love to know where the Eco Park Lodge comes into it. Urban Tuscany meets bushveld is more like it. My room faced onto the highway and I had continual traffic noise. Dreadful! I tried the spa bath in my room and had cold to lukewarm water. Plus the water pressure was exceptionally poor. The bathroom towels were old, small and threadbare - certainly not what I would expect from a 4 star establishment. There was no milk / milk sachets in the room. Lighting in the room is poor if one wishes to read and work. The work surface is poor for business working. The breakfast was adequate self service, but the fruit salad was out of a tin and had plastic swimming in it. The hot buffet in trays that were supposed to keep it warm was cold as were the plates. Don't bother to switch on the TV. Not a single channel was properly tuned in. The safe in the room was locked on arrival. I reported it to get fixed and am still waiting. I will not be returning!

  Underwhelmed and needs tlc

  Things that worked... 1.Close and convenient to work... 2. Dinner very good. Great T Bone cooked correctly and friendly staff.. Things that didnt: 1. Incessent cracking of faulty electric fence 2. Highway noise pretty hectic 3. No double adapter for mobile phone charger!!!! WTH? 4. Shower standing in bath made such a mess the entire bathroom floor was soaked. 5. Poor TV channel selection 6. No real soap... Nobody likes the liquid type! It ok value for money I guess so unless there are better options available I would prefer to stay elsewhere. The owners need to heed the feedback of these reviews or else there won't be return business..

  Unfriendly, brothel like

  Booked for 6 nights, including breakfast, it was horrid and inconsistent I dint bother half the time. Welcome, the main meal chef actually had good presentation for other meals. Milly/Millicent the hostess is just cover for a call girl/prostitute. Overall a hard pass (and I don't usually comment with the natural expectation of good service but the absent Nigerian owner leaves a lot to be desired here).

  Hotel does not deserve a 4 star rating. No staff in attendance at reception to check in. Had to go and look for staff. No lift to higher floor- only stairs and had to ask the person checking me in at reception to help me with my luggage. Air conditioning in room didnt work and when I requested to move rooms I was told that they could only offer a downgrade to a poky hot room. Could not offer the same or upgraded room as the hotel was apparently fully booked even though it showed availability on various booking sites. I informed that I am not prepared to stay in the property without working air-conditioning (around 32 degrees Celsius) and that I would rather move to another hotel since I booked and paid for an air conditioned room. Refused to reverse charges on my credit card with the excuse that they can only process a refund at the end of the month.
