  Perfect place for a Tanglewood experience

  What a nice stay. We arrived late and had no issues getting settled. Communications with the owner were clear and accommodating to our schedule. Room was clean and comfortable. The house has a wonderful porch to enjoy the garden and the breakfast choices. Tanglewood is only a short walk. We'd stay here anytime when in Lenox.

  The BEST

  It happened by chance. Somehow I managed to arrive at Kripalu a day early. Accommodations were $199 for a shared room, one night only. Dalija was highly recommended by a staff member at Kripalu. I didn't hesitate a minute to call Dalija. She had a room ready for me last minute ! And she is only a 2-3 minute drive to Kripalu. She is a 5 minute walk to Tanglewood, and nice walk into Lenox, with restaurants, like Haven. Dalija is fabulous. She's personable, she is engaging, she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable so for that I will am thankful. Definitely will be visiting Dalija again soon. OH, and I hope you have a chance to run into her mother Nancy, another beautiful treasure.

  We wanted a b and b near the changing colours if the Fall and thus place is definitely that. Help yourself breakfast which has something for everyone. Landlady is extremely friendly and had good local knowledge of the area. The rooms are interesting!

  False advertisement no AC in every room

  We booked this Eastgate B& B through the awful Expedia. We arrived there on October 23, 2020 at 6 p.m. As soon as we entered the room, we smelt a body Odor. The room was stuffy and hot. We called the hostess Dalia to asked about the AC and she said that she removed the AC window unit from the window during fall. Her solution was to open the windows. I do not know why, but I agreed. The noise from the road and the other AC unit was unbearable. I called her again and her solution was to provide a fan next day. I was astonished because fall in Massachusetts can range sometimes from temperatures between 50s to 70s. The point is that if you advertise you have AC you should have AC. Why I want a fan if I have paid for a room with AC. That night we did not sleep at all. Next day, we told her that we will leave because the room did no have AC. I have a rare immunological condition similar to Multiple Sclerosis that makes me heat sensitive. I felt sick. She refused to issue a refund for the night that we did not stay. We did not even asked for a refund for the awful night that we stayed without AC. She told us to call Expedia. We did, and Expedia asked to call her. So, we stayed like ball between this two horrible companies without a refund. Both, Expedia and Eastgate B&B are very dishonest, and this has to stop.

  Very Homey and close to town!

  We had such a great stay at Dalija place. She is very welcoming and the house is filled with things to do. Eastgate Inn is amazing for getting away from city noise and lights; it is cozy. It was close enough to main road for quick bites, and only about 15 minute drive to the mountain for skiing/tubing. Dalija is also a great baker and left us amazing breakfast during our time there. Her porch is decorated with chairs and tables for enjoying the outdoors, even in the cold weather it was very nature-y. The perfect home away from home! We will be back!
