  Private and cosy. Not far from town.

  We stayed in these comfy clean cottages for one night and could not have asked for a better experience. Although not luxury, the cottages are cosy. Our cottage (Eastern Reef Cottage) had a queen bed downstairs and two singles and a queen upstairs. Downstairs also included a kitchenette and a lounge area. We received a very warm welcome but were then left to our own devices. Much appreciated. The cottages are a short drive from town or a 10 minute walk - although there are no footpaths so you are walking on the verge. The surroundings were beautiful and I would recommend a stay here.

  Wonderful Cottage and Peaceful Surrounds

  Loved the craftsmanship of the cottages and the space was perfect to accomodate our group of 5 in 2 rooms. Beds were really comfortable and there was lots of space to relax. The gardens were beautifully cared for and we enjoyed a delightful sunset over the grounds.

  Nice basic accommodations in quiet surroundings

  Traveling with another family, we rented two cottages over New Years Eve. The cottages are nicely appointed with comfortable beds, an adequate albeit not fancy bathroom, and a small kitchenette. The furnishings in the kitchen were different between the two cottages, the kitchen being better suited for quick breakfasts and making sandwiches than for making a full dinner. However, we found them adequate for our needs and everything was very clean and fresh. Parking is convenient, and it is a very short and easy drive from town. There is a resident goat (kept behind a fence) that likes to come say hello!

  This place was pretty good but not great.

  Bay Reef Cottage was a decent sized older cottage that had good facilities, was fairly private and clean and tidy. The location is just out of town but having decent cooking facilities, including a BBQ, allowed us to have a cheap meal at home. It was an enjoyable stay.

  Cosy

  Well we where struggling to get a place to sleep & Smiley did us proud. We had a wonderful cottage all to our selfs. We couldnt believe it, this place had everything you could possibly need. Coffee, milk , Our view was lovely, my husband sat watching the rabbits & sheep. Town is a fair walk with no path so could be dangerous, we ate at waves in the town & it was beautiful. Clean towels , hot water and a very friendly owner ( smiley ) We would definitely go back & definitely recommend the cottages.
