  Very Nice Stay

  Me and wife with 3 kids ages 14,11,5 stayed here for 5 nights in April it was a last minute booking with flights and breakfast that cost for 5 of us about 2.5k. The hotel room was v nice for 5 of us - 2 showers and 4 toilets. Television was a let down and wasn't working in one room and none of the channels were English. The view from the v large balcony ( not every room can have this size and view) was breathtakingly beautiful I regret not enjoying the view more. Behind the hotel are mangroves and beautiful blue green water and plenty of water sports - we went on a boat ride which was v relaxing and then a speedboat at night which was not that wow and we went on a doughnut boat which was nice but scary because we didn't have any assistance and I had to be Captain of the ship - these boat rides were quite expensive between £50-£100 The breakfast is v poor compared to the quality of the hotel they really need to improve this and probably the only reason I would not return- we ate with vouchers from a limited menu at carluccios- not good enough and probably reason I could not give it 5 stars. Everything is quite far away from this hotel- its actually apartments (a lot of workers stay here) so expect quite a few taxi rides - fares £20 a day minimum if u want to eat out and go site seeing. The staff are fantastic and will go out of their way to make sure everything is spot on. They will get you discounts on everything at this compound. This resort is like a luxury Docks - it's a hangout for rich arabs and the night walk is just phenomenal- you need the weather- it was 27-32 degress everyday We went UK Easter time and surprisingly it was not busy because schools all over country had different holiday times we think. There is a rooftop swimming pool quite small probably ok for 20 people at one time to swim in and the wonderful thing was there was hardly anyone using it all week we were there- so this became the highlight of our holiday roof top swimming beautiful scenery very hot weather - just bliss. Next door hotel is nicer called Antara but no doubt more expensive with v expensive spa options, but with an outdoor non private swimming pool so for a family that likes privacy our hotel was better. This hotel is in such a beautiful area if u didn't leave the complex you wouldn't lose out because it is enough - there are a few restaurants, a Waitrose ( v handy) and a Starbucks. Lastly the staff need a call out Lady Lyn and her team make your holiday Brilliant- they are calm collected and v friendly and they know what they are doing. Overall I would say a 4 star hotel - if a buffet breakfast was added and TV was working then could say it is 5 star - price we paid probably a bit steep. Food options in Abu Dhabi were top class. Our full holiday was a real amazing week with many happy memories.

  Great day visit!

  I had to say coming here was a good decision.. They have a lot of international dining options which catches my taste buds since me and my boyfriend loves food very much.. we will definitely come back here again soon, maybe stay for a night or something.. the hotel itself from the look of it is relaxing, wouldn't mind to stay for the weekend.. Keep it up guys!

  Service getting worse

  My name is Bokhyun Nam and I am staying at the Eastern Mangrove by Jannah hotel since August 2016 with 1 year contract. First of all, I would like to tell you that I had decided to stay in this property because of its great surroundings and ambience especially there is a marina which people can enjoy boating, kayaking, and etc. Also, there are number of great restaurants so it is one of the hot spots of the area. However, there have been drastic changes in the services after new Jannah hotel opened in RAK last November. As a lot of staff including security, technicians and services transferred to the new location, the service quality has been literally hit the bottom. For example, no one answers the calls at the reception at any time and it is just chaotic at the outside of the lobby because there is no security or staff to organize the incoming vehicles to the hotel. If you are considering Eastern Mangrove Jannah residence, please think twice. Consider these circumstances that I have faced so far at Jannah residence: 1.It is NOT safe to walk near the residence during peak time of the restaurants because there is no one to organize the vehicles. I had few incidents that the cars almost hit me. 2.Staff never answers the inquiries via phone or email in a timely sense. I requested if I could receive the newspaper (which I usually receive) and no one has given me the proper reason or answer. 3.Management does NOT fix the broken scale, tv and audio system at the gym. 4.Security, technicians and services staff NOT available at requests. 5.Room cleaning service was 3 times a week then reduced to 2 times from November. It is on the tenant contract and I claimed to the management. Then, they started to clean the room 3 times a week. 6.You might face the noises from the restaurants within the residence which have customers until late night. I hope the management of the Jannah residence improve on the above points because I was a satisfied tenant until all these changes came in November. I look forward to seeing the positive response.

  Pleasant Stay

  I had to stay a day longer than planned and spent a night at this hotel. Nice rooms, great showers. We had the Thursday Night Barbecue and it was a feast. The food selection was ample. I enjoyed the barbecue salmon and prawns.

  SO BAD

  im a resident in jannah hotel eastern mangroves with my family , we had a contract with them for one year to rent an apartment there and we pay the money in advance and now the service is so bad (cleaning two days in week instead of 3 days - the internet is so so slow which i cant watch the matches online - nobody in reception and oneday i lost my card and when i went to reception i didnt find anybody and i waited with family lots of hours )its really very very bad hotel and they dont comply with the terms of contract . we really wait the day we finish the contract and move from that terrible place .
