  Hermoso lugar con atención deficiente-

  El hotel está ubicado al lado de una cancha de golf, en un paraje campestre y hermoso. La decoración es sencilla y los cuartos son espaciosos. Tienen un amplio Spa. La atención en recepción es apenas amable. Pero en tres días que estuvimos parando allí sólo un día hicieron una limpieza a la que llaman "refreshing". Los otros días nos cambiaron las toallas solamente. Fin de semana se llena porque son especialistas en fiestas de casamiento.

  We visited the spa and were shocked at the lack of COVID safety in the pool and spa area. There were 6 young women in the jacuzzi - there was a sign saying 4 people maximum and from same households which these people clearly werent from. They were going in and out of the steam room when you were supposed to book a 15 minute slot. I appreciate that this was an unsupervised pool and spa area but what really shocked me was when we mentioned it to the reception staff they just smiled and said aaah well - its Christmas! Sorry but this is not good enough. When safety breaches are highlighted they should be taken seriously. This kind of attitude is why we have an ever worsening problem with COVID infections!

  Big disappointment! Waste of money AVOID!

  I purchased an overnight stay with dinner, bed and breakfast and a 55 minute spa treatment for 2 people for my partners birthday via buyagift.com which I booked with Georgie in the reservations team via phone on 23/11/2020. I booked for an arrival on 13/12/2020 and make a dietary request, which Georgie confirmed was possible with 1 weeks notice, I was delighted to hear this! On arrival we reported to the spa reception for our treatments, these were scheduled for 09:45 hours. We were provided with robes and were asked to change into them. What we didnt know at this point, was that there was a difference in size... until some hours later. My partner was wearing a robe that was far to small, a female robe. And I was wearing an oversized robe, a male robe. This only became apparent when we saw other couples in robes that fit. We then switched robes. Embarrassing! This could have easily been avoided if we were told there was a difference in size from the outset. Following our treatments and some relaxation time in the relaxation room we decided to order some food and drinks in the coffee shop. We ordered a pot of tea for 2, skin on fries and a veggie pizza at 12:00 hours. We were informed at the point of ordering there would be a 30 min wait as the kitchen was only just opening, understandable. It got to 12:40 hours and the fries and pizza had not arrived. I followed this up and was told it would be a further 10 mins. The food finally arrived at 13:00 hours. The chips were delicious, however the pizza was not edible. It was stone cold (fridge cold). Clearly the pizza had not been cooked. I complained and was offered another pizza but we had activities booked from 13:30 hours so we were unable to wait any longer. The cost of the pizza was refunded, the manager apologised and asked if we would like some free spa day passes as an apology. I thanked him and declined and explained we are not local. The manager said he would inform the hotel to see if theres anything they could do for us later. Following our activities, steam, sauna, jacuzzi and swim we collected our things and headed to the showers within the treatment area. We realised that we were not provided with towels at any point so had to request these. My partner happily showered and got ready. I on the other hand changed out of my swim wear to shower and to my surprise there was no water in either of the ladies showers! And no out of order signs. Frustrating! I had to put back on my wet swimwear, gather all my things and head back to the pool shower and changing facilities to shower and get ready to check into the hotel. Check in was quick and straightforward. We were allocated room 117, the room was clean, however, we were a little disappointed. The bedroom was run down, with stains on the carpet, chips to paint work and dirty marks on the walls. We rested here for a few hours before getting ready for dinner. We headed to the pavilion for dinner, we were really looking forward to seeing what the chef would be rustling up for us in line with our dietary requirements. The waiter seated us and explained he was aware of our dietary request and off he went to check with the chef to see what he/she would be making for us. The waiter returned and said I am sorry, we are usually able to source halal chicken, however we havent been able to and tonights options for you are vegetarian only. Again, we were disappointed. At the point of booking I was told halal would be possible with 1 weeks notice. I gave 3 weeks notice. What was meant to be an exciting relaxing treat for my partners birthday turned out to be one big disappointment. This unacceptable experience was raised with hotel management; Beth and Vivek, both were unable to provide an acceptable resolution, leading to further disappointment. Avoid!

  B and B while moving house.

  Stayed here in December 2020. Well impressed, although Ive been a leisure club member for many years. First class Covid strategy, couldnt fault it, even got a thermometer at reception. Lovely receptionist who couldnt do enough. Gorgeous room (104) overlooking the grounds. Bed was a delight, slept like a log. Then a great full English served by another helpful young waitress. Amy just £72 for the pair of us, amazing! We will be back when we finish our removal, I cant wait

  Golf and Gym Break

  My wife and I booked a two night break with three rounds of golf enabling us to play on both East and West courses. Starting with the hotel stay, the check in was quick and hassle free with pleasant staff. Room well equipped and had everything you require to make your stay comfortable. Spa/Gym, excellent and took full advantage of the facilities after our daily golf session. Food, choice for dinner was poor over both nights. Taking advantage of the bar menu on the 2nd night I chose the stone baked pizza which was delivered cold. I changed that to the curry which was okay. Desert was good though to rescue the meal. Breakfast with cooked breakfast offered but oddly no cereal on offer!!! Good courses, with my choice being the West course. Plenty of challenging holes on both especially in these winter conditions with the ball not traveling when hitting the ground. We will return again to see just how good the courses are in the summer.
