  A very pleasant stay

  We have just spent 3 nights at your hotel and again we were not disappointed. This was our third visit. The staff on reception were very friendly and chatty and maintained this approach throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much for any of them. We stayed in room 14 this time. It was well furnished, it was very warm and extremely comfortable. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and there was lots of hot water. We ate in the restaurant on 2 nights. The food was delicious and was served piping hot. The breakfasts were very tasty, hot and satisfying. We would not hesitate to visit your Hotel again. It is in such a lovely peaceful setting.   Excellent!

  Great base for a walking holiday - short drive away from coast and inland walks. Very warm and comfortable hotel with friendly staff and good food. Felt Covid-safe (the staff were very accommodating to our wishes). Great to have a garden too. Would highly recommend.

  Room was fine

  Came with my family and our dog. Check in was good a nice welcome we went to our room (24) which was comfortable the carpet needs joining together properly. And the flow of the shower is more like a torrent of water but it gets hot quick do not all bad. We decided to eat our evening meal on the restaurant very very mixed reviews. My steak pie was lovely however my husband had mushroom stroganoff and that was terrible hardly any sauce and the rice was like microwave rice quite hard and tasteless. My eldest daughter had gammon and that was incredibly salty I wanted to tell the lady that had served us but she has autism and didn't want any fuss. I wasn't overly impressed when at 7 o'clock whilst we were eating our meal the receptionist/waitress started turning lights off in the conservatory next to where we were eating and shutting curtains, I also though it quite rude that she moved the flower arrangement on the table because my 5 year old touched it Both the kids slept well but mine and my husband's bed had a rubber protector on it so we were very sweaty and didn't sleep that well which was a shame because other wise it would of been a nice bed. Breakfast I found ok but again the bacon was very salty so my husband and daughter couldn't eat it the lady that attended to us at breakfast was lovely nothing was to much trouble for her. Summing up this hotel we would stay again but would be room only and not eat our evening meal here again

  Cute little lodge

  We loved East Aston Lodge - the customer service was amazing & the staff were great. The food in the restaurant was lovely too. Great little dog friendly place & the location was perfect. Not to far from Filey, Scarborough & Whitby. Would recommend. The only con we had was the pipes were so loud and woke us up in the morning but the building is old and honestly theres nothing the staff can do about it. It wouldnt stop me staying here again.

  Perfect wedding day

  We recently had our wedding reception at East Ayton Lodge. We were planning our wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic and the staff made the whole experience as stress free as possible. Nothing was too much trouble - from catering for special diets to letting us have our own sound track during the meal. The room looked fabulous and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were really friendly and the service was second to none. Jeannie, the manager, was incredibly helpful throughout and made sure that we got our perfect day. The grounds are spectacular and looked especially lovely with the autumn colours. We would definitely recommend East Ayton Lodge and will enjoy visiting regularly in the future.
