  El Earhtsong Logde de la Isla de la Gran Barrera de Nueva Zelanda es realmente un sitio bonito. Nuestros anfitriones, Trevor y Carol estaban muy bien informados y fueron muy atentos. El menú era de cinco estrellas y había una lista de vinos comprensible que nos permitió relajarnos realmente y disfrutar plenamente de nuestra estancia. Sin duda alguna recomendaría el Earthsong a cualquiera que quiera disfrutar de una experiencia única en la isla de Nueva Zelanda.

  Delicious Degustation!

  Sadly we were not staying at this luxury Lodge - however that did not stop us enjoying a fabulous dining experience on Easter Sunday. Just 4 of us dining so we quickly got to know our fellow guests who were on honeymoon and this was a treat for them. Well it was a treat for us too! Carol and Trevor looked after us very well and from the moment we arrived, after Carol collected us from the parking spot - everything was just lovely. Only regret was that I would love to have seen the lodge in the daytime too. Soft sounds on the amazing stereo greeted us, followed by drinks and canapes before we launched into the meal.Great wines and just a real treasure of a place. Thank you Trevor and Carol for your hospitality, we loved the whole experience

  Mazing earthsong lodge,high recommend.A+++

  Trevor picked up when we arrived Great barrier Island,then he drove us main view point,medland beach,Tryphana beach,helped us pick up my retaned car. The best time was in dinner,Trevor became a professional and lovely chef with chef's work suit,we enjoyed dinner time,nice music,delious food in table,beatiful view out of window.A mazing night ,Trevor

  A unique New Zealand experience

  Two nights at the Earthsong Lodge kicked off our New Zealand itinerary. It was a wonderful way to adjust to jet-lag, experience unspoilt beauty of New Zealand, be treated like royalty by Carol and Trevor, and have a chance to see incredible night skies if you're lucky enough to get a clear night. The food is to die for. Trevor is an amazing chef, and Carol a fantastic baker/canner. Dinner is a gastronomic treat and beautiful to behold. Trevor introduced each course with an explanation of the dish and preparation, and treated us to table-side prepared Caesar salad one night. The rugged drive to the Lodge gives you a real sense of adventure, yet it ends at a beautiful home and private rooms for guests. Trevor had a 4 wheel drive vehicle on-hand for us to rent, in case we wanted to spend the day exploring the island on our own--so glad we did. He gave us a driving lesson to get down the challenging drive to the main road. Great hiking, and amazing views after every turn. Be sure to book a Good Heavens night sky experience while you're there. We were lucky to have Deborah come out to the lodge, equipped with a powerful telescope, lawn chairs, binoculars, and laser pointer to give us an orientation to the night sky. Super experience! Not many people get to this small island, which doesn't have a single stop light--many Kiwis don't even know about it. Highly recommend it for a unique and very special experience.

  Paradise off the beaten track

  We spent three nights here during our holiday in New Zealand. It is an incredible place - with stunning views from our apartment. Trevor and Carol are excellent hosts - we felt at home right from when Trevor collected us from Claris airfield. Don't be put off by the approach via unmade tracks! Trevor will happily arrange hire of a 4X4. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the superb dinner cooked for us by Trevor. We were the only guests and we were treated to one of the best meals ever - perfectly balanced, superb ingredients - every mouthful a delight. Great Barrier Island is a Dark Sky Sanctuary and on our second night we had a superb view of the Southern skies. During the day, we saw a number of native New Zealand birds around the lodge - our favourite was the kingfisher who regularly perched on an olive tree near our balcony. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well maintained. A decanter of port is included with the usual tea and coffee!
