  If you want customer care and attention this may not be the place for you.

  I bought an accommodation and wellness voucher and had contact regarding honouring of voucher with management as it had passed expiry date. I was out of the country due to my dying father and therefore could not use it. they showed no compassion what's so ever . I wanted to,stay at the chateau to get a feel for the establishment and book my upcoming wedding. They refused to honour or refund or offer an alternative offer. They did respond when I contacted them to discuss our wedding plans and yet could not be bothered to answer my Email requesting a meeting time to discuss planning of the wedding. Very poor customer service indeed. Their loss as we booked and since had the most-amazing wedding at another Chateau June 9th in Czech Republic. All our guests stayed with us for two days at our expense plus we enjoyed a wonderful wedding and wedding reception. Therefore think twice before considering a stay when a voucher is involved or organising a special event. I wrote an email to management to formalise my dismay for lack of customer care and once again I was ignored. If you are organising a special event like a wedding you want to deal with an establishment that cares. Attention to detail is paramount. If they can not respond to making an appointment this is a red flag and you best stay clear.

  Nice place and hotel

  I visited this hotel more than 3 times. One times we spent there with my wife and child one week. This hotel is on the nice place ,very near highway (3-5km)so there is not problem to get anywhere. Next to hotel is very old castle with big garden . After work you can enjoy time there (open ohours finished at 17:00 i don´t remmeber exactly) Rooms are big and clean. Only one time I had problem with badthroom there was wrong plug on bath so I can not fullfil bath with watter. Wifi is free. TV - lack of free chanels and another you have to pay. Restaurant - as I wrote, I visisted this hotel more times , and during my visit with my wife we have problem with restaurant, we ordered food and after waiting more than 45 minut we finally got the dinner , what was worse I got another food as I ordered. In this time there was only few guests so this long time waiting was not caused by a lot of orders. My another visits there everything was working without any problems. So I dont know why we have this bad experience. Breakfast are very good arranged. Near hotel is big multifunctional sport field also with part for children. I recomend this hotel.

  Rather three stars hotel than four

  Zámecký hotel Sychrov (Chateau hotel Sychrov) is located near the magnificent chateau of the French princely family of Rohan, who settled there after the Second French Revolution of 1830 or the Trois Glorieuses. The hotel is newly built and boasts with four stars on the facade. On arrival you will be welcome by the strict receptionist, reminiscent of "durné" or policewomen in former Soviet hotels in 80s with a really incredible demand in decent English - your personal documents, please, leave them here and pick it up later. At the present time to leave there any documents ? The rooms seem clean, but some small faults are completely unacceptable as a lack of soap in the dispenser at the lavatory and two broken bulbs in the room - I had the room number 110. I'm not technicaly uneducated but to confess in the system of the combined switches in the room is quite a tease. The entire hotel is a design one with pretty comical arrangement. On the way from the parking you have to circle the entire hotel walkway absolutely meaningless and if you have more luggage it is quite a feat. It is not possible to stop the car near the entrance because the road here is here purposely made as a bottleneck. I tried it once in the morning and I was pushed out by a garbage truck. The rooms are also design behind the headbed is not a common and usual wall, but an extra space so you all night watching, if anybody is staying behind you. On the wall is a long empty shelf of unknown destination. Breakfast is decently stocked, but what was horrible was the waitress, evidently dumb and who after every bite has taken away any empty dishes from the table and really without saying a word. To hear that the personal would say Good morning or Thank you cannot be expected here. Unfortunately this hotel is the only acceptable in this area but in my opinion it does not deserve four stars.

  Getting worst year after year

  I was there a few years ago and then I visit it again last week. The stuff is not helpful at all, their English language level is very poor. The food was awful, I could eat better food in any fast food restaurant, The wine they offer in the room is probably $1 wine. Not drinkable at all. Everything is overpriced, I can tell good words only about the spa - it's still good.

  Modern hotel with cute castle

  The hotel is really modern, huge rooms with new bathrooms. Everywhere is clean, breakfast and all other meals are really good. Cute castle next to the hotel with small but lovely garden for quick walk. Stoning views especially in Winter. Small parking next to the hotel when restaurant and hotel are quite crowded- only big parking in front of the castle is solution in that case.
