  Noisy Neighbours Will Ruin Your Stay

  First impressions were great, the pool was lovely and clean, the rooms spacious, the beds comfortable, and the outdoor bathrooms refreshing. The villa is located in a pretty good place, with a bank and easy atm access on the same street, as well as a Starbucks, nearby supermarket, and a lovely group of restaurants just a two minute walk about. Unfortunately the care from staff was somewhat lacking, and we found that the few times we asked them to clean the room they forgot to clean or refresh the second floor, and missed some crucial things like providing more toilet paper, or emptying certain bins. The bath towels were clean, but a few of the hand towels were horribly stained, and really should have been replaced. The upstairs shower was partially broken, and no hand towels were provided. Whilst I would expect ants and other small bugs due to the tropical area and all of the gardens, we weren't happy to find that there were definitely rats getting in to the kitchen area, as any food we left unsecure, even large items, disappeared immediately, and we found a large amount of rat droppings behind the water filter when we looked (although all accessible areas were clean enough). The worst thing by far however were several groups of noisy neighbours, who completely ruined our stay with late-night partying. The open-air villas are built right next to each other, and although the walls between are high, with the open bathrooms leading straight into the bedrooms, partying villas kept us up until 4am seven out of our ten nights. We placed several calls to staff at the front desk, and even went in person, however they only agreed to ask the disruptive guests to turn the volume down once. Later that same night, and on all subsequent nights the villa staff were unwilling to talk to the other guests about volume. We even tried going to the guests ourselves (as advised by the front desk staff), however with seemingly no hard rules on guest sound in place at D'Wina, there was nothing backing us up, and we were powerless to stop the partying guests from completely ruining our stay. My group are in our twenties, so we understand having fun and a good party, but there's a limit on what is decent and fair for others staying at the same location If you're after a quiet and relaxing stay, this isn't the place for it. Although the rooms were nice, I'm sure you can find somewhere better for the price.

  Fantastic Villa with Best Location in Canggu

  Good location in Canggu. Just walking distance to Starbuck, Super Market, Finns Splash Waterpark, Restaurant, ATM and Wine Store. Just few minutes by car to Canggu Beach and Finns Beach Club. Parking lot is available. Check in process very simple but we have to wait 1 hour because the villa still not ready yet. We also have to wait to get bath towel since still in laundry process. Villa very fantastic with modern concept. Just need regular maintenance to keep the villa in good condition. Sliding door in bath room to pool cant be opened. This is not big issue but we can get good view if the door working properly. All rooms with flat tv, ac and telephone. Facilities of kitchen very complete like stove, dispenser, microwave and toaster. Staffs are not excellent (but not bad) compare with another villa and hotels. Need improvement to be more friendly so that equal with property quality. Some friends in Jakarta and Italy like this villa from my IG story. Very recommended villa.

  Good place for family trip

  2 big bedrooms with attached bathrooms in one Villa. It can fit 2 small families or 1 big family. One pool for each Villa. Just next to it is the dining room. I had a great stay! Just dont hope on the breakfast. You can have Gofood or Starbucks nearby.

  Worst place we have stayed at in our lives. Filthy and dirty.

  My husband and I travel the world. This is our second time in Bali and we were really excited to stay at D'Wina as it had good reviews, pool in the villa, close to the beach but this was our worst experience staying somewhere ever. 1 star. Dirty and filthy. Took hours to get towels and they were dirty along with the bedding and they ran out of toilet paper. Walls were filthy. Ants have infested this place inside and out. Have to check out early to find a new place and spend more money with no reimbursement. Wifi barely works and half of the outlets did not work either. Very unsatisfied.

  NIGHTMARE

  This place is a SCAM! My friends and I arrived late at night and we were welcomed by two employees that, despite our reservation was confirmed, said that there were no rooms available. They suggested to take us to another hotel, which after a quick research, we found out it was an inferior one and a 30 minutes drive away. Fortunately at this moment, three other guests from Holland arrived and explained that the same thing happened to them, and that after 2 hours of waiting and complaining, a room suddenly became vacant. After doing the same thing as them, dealing with rude employees, a room was available. No surprise, the room was filthy and moldy. Luckly we didnt have to stay for long. It was a nightmare.
