  We are from the hospitality industry and we found Dusk to Dawn to be a very special place. Tranquil & beautiful with all the little touches that one would expect to find. The rooms & cottages are clean and well appointed. The breakfasts were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would love to have stayed longer for some real R&R.

  Area and view

  The area of this hotel, is not easy to find if you are from the area, you have to use Jps. The view was very good as you can see the mountains and landscape afar. It is good for people who love farming

  A gem in the emerald hills

  A gem of a lodge nestled in rolling emerald hills dotted with livestock. Having arrived in late afternoon we were a little concerned that wed have to drive all the way back to Piet Retief for dinner, until Gudrun unveiled her wide range of fantastic home made frozen meals that simply needed thawing and heating. We had a wonderful, relaxed one-night stay with great food in the superbly appointed lodge.

  Perfect stopover

  We stayed there for one evening on our way to Pretoria from Durban. Everyone is very friendly, the food is delicious as well as the preserves they sell. The accommodation is well equipped Our little one was able to collect eggs and feed the llamas, amazing experience.

  Dusk to Dawn

  This is one of my favourite places. Beautiful peaceful and serene. The breakfast is a highlight and the animals on the farm a treat for any age. If you passing through its worth the stop the facilities are first class.
