  Lovely and clean rooms

  As soon as you walked into your room smelled lovely and clean, water pressure in the shower is great!! Nice little kitchen, very spacious rooms. Not to much road noise as we are country folk and not used to noise at night time and no out side lights shinning into your room which is another plus, The owners are friendly, just a lovely place to stay

  Excellent

  Very nice motor inn that has been recently renovated my room was excellent very very clean and tidy excellent location just a short five minute walk down to the local restaurants where I visited the best steakhouse in New Zealand this motor Inn is priced accordingly and I would definitely stay there again the Wi-Fi was good also thanks again

  Orribile customer service

  As essential worker we had to travel from South Island to Tauranga and so we booked a week in this hotel (apartment unit with 3beds, small kitchen and bathroom, thats mean that we dont have any contact with anyone else as the unit has an own entrance and private car park) and 2 our friends that were travelling with us had booked an air b&b somewhere else. So one of those nights our friends came to visit us because no one told us that we are Not allowed to receive visit and wasnt even mentioned in the guest books. Anyway obviously they checked the cctv and discovered that weve got visit and so they came to knock the door and sent them away, fair enough! Today, last One luckily, our friends came to drop our roommate after work and (as we Are not allow to have guest) we went outside of the building for say Hi and we came back to our apartment (just the 3 of us) and then 5 mins later the owner came to knock our room again in a very rude way and checked our room including the toilet for see if the other 2 friends were inside and she said shed call the police and check our cars (?????) with no reasons!!! So definitely I would not recommend this place for their bad customer service. Very rude persons.

  Great location and room

  I dont normally do TripAdvisor reviews, but after reading some not great reviews on this site I wanted to share that this motel was excellent, clean with great facilities. Its central location and free parking were fabulous for attending a busy event at the nearby Baycourt theatre and the staff were polite. We left earlier than planned and the owner came out to check on us after I left the key at reception. Will definitely be back next year.

  Exceptional

  What more can I say? The room was spotless, everywhere. Well laid out, with quality furnishings. A heat pump, a comfortable bed, sky tv and a good supply of tea and coffee made for a good evening. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The shower was very powerful, no poor pressure here. Id happily stay here again.
