  Relaxing break

  Just had a very pleasant stay at the Dunmuir. The meals were delicious, a good choice at very reasonable prices. The room was very comfortable and had everything you would need, including hairdryer and iron. Breakfast was well cooked and, again had a good choice. Shame we didnt get to try the buffet but maybe next time once the virus has passed. Staff were all very friendly and provided an excellent service. Covid precautions are excellent and it is obvious the owner has worked very hard to keep his guests safe. In an excellent location near to centre of town and to the beach. Would definitely recommend the Dunmuir. Good luck for the future and hopefully these restrictions will be lifted soon.

  3 course meal

  My husband and l ordered a 3 course meal to celebrate our anniversary at home. It was spectacular. The prawns and goats cheese starters were delicious and involved little or no prep. The sea bass and lasagne were delicious and even the side salads were lovely and so fresh. The sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake were amazing. Really good value and a huge treat. Thank you.

  So nice!

  Sometimes you meet people who are so pleasant, you can't help but remark on it. That's how we found the people at Dunmuir. Lovely welcome, really nice chats at mealtime, and really kind at checkout, too. The food was also particularly nice - steak pie, steak, chicken roulade were all lovely, and the sticky toffee pudding could well be the nicest I've ever had. The room was very comfortable, too - spacious and usefully laid out. Would absolutely come back here again, and have already recommended it to a few people.

  Superb!

  Just had a great stay in this hotel. Friendly welcoming owners (andMax) who made our break pretty well perfect. Food was first rate with an excellent choice even with a restricted menu. Our dog was also given a treat for breakfast and loved the hotel surroundings. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable with hairdryer and iron provided. We will happily return for future holidays here. All Covid precautions were in place. Congratulations to Phil and Lesley for giving us such a great break.

  Great hotel right on the coast

  Had a week long stay while working in the area during the covid pandemic and couldnt have asked for more. Warm welcome and great food delivered to the room each evening. Hotel adhered to all guidelines and rooms were thoroughly cleaned, quiet and spacious. Will be my first choice if working in the area again.
