  Good hotel, bad restaurant

  Hotel has potential, but management does not use it enough. Is it a beachfront hotel in Srima, at the end of local beach. Most of rooms have big balcony and good seaview. Rooms: are OK, clean, nicely furnished. Hotel is new, opened since 2006 (? I do not remember exact year). Hotel is OK for 1-2 nights stay. No possibility to control airconditions (just on/off). The air temperature from aircon did not comply my preference and failures at night. Than I slept badly. To open window means to be swamped by mosquito bites. No in-room wifi. I informed receptionist that in-room safe is missing. She explained willingly, that each room have in-room safe, and explained exactly where it is.... I asked her to follow me in my room and show me the safe - she was surprised that there is none.... Restaurant. Restaurant???? This was my second stay at this hotel and I did not try dinner now, because it looked like a fast food. Breakfast tables were covered by leftovers from evening guests one hour after opening. You have to find clean table (if possible) and bring a cutlery and table-napkin on your table by yourself. No problem for me, but not acceptable during my holiday in 4star hotel... Place: end of Vodice beach - in fact in Srima. The worst and bad maintained beach in Vodice. The hotel and beach have a big potential, but many details have to be changed.

  Fantastic, right on the beach

  This four stars hotel is small - two floors and just 34 rooms and you feel like at home (still, it has elevator!). The beach is in front of the building, there is small but nice swimming pool, including one for kids. The rooms are nicely decorated and the only problem is that there is no one double bed but two beds next to each other. Other than this, everything else is excellent. The breakfast is good, staff are nice and smiling. You have covered parking - extremely good in hot summer. The hotel is 45 minutes walk from the center of Vodice but near you have restaurants and fantastic ice ream. It is excellent for anyone who want fantastic views, peace and quiet and romantic atmosphere.

  Too quite for us Mid September.

  We were here mid Sept 2015, the area around the hotel was like a ghost town. Only one restaurant open. Maybe the place would have been buzzing in the high season. Hotel was 'grand' breakfast was 'grand. The two girls who were working reception and the bar were absolutely lovely. Pool was not inviting. But the fresh sea is just across the road.

  Family operated national 4star hotel

  Nice Location and rooms, staff is gentle and helpful. Food is not so good: Breakfast every day the same, half-pension dinner with 3 selections missing spices, herbs, Decoration... the taste is really not good, luckily Restaurants and Bars are surrounded. Hotel is in Srima, outside Vodice - therefore much more silent.

  Stay in high season

  We booked to stay over low season. The location is far out of town so we had to drive to local restaurants. It wasn't very busy at the hotel and felt a bit like a ghost town. Signs indicated a strict policy against bringing outside food and drink. We booked for the sea view and to enjoy wine on our balcony. Breakfast was an average affair with food tasting 1 day old and this may have been due to lack of guests. I think if you came in high season it would be a hive of activity and worth a stay. The staff are friendly, rooms clean and pool is a plus.
