  Disgusting place

  We have booked for 3 nights (2,3&4 of September 2016) absolutely disgusting!!!!! Should have read the reviews before booking it! I have no idea where they have got the 4 stars from, i would not give them more than 2! Dirty place, very poor breakfast, very old appliances for a 4 star! Never again! I strongly recommend NOT to book this hotel

  Does what it promises

  The hotel was very clean and the housekeeping service was fantastic. The rooms were a good size and the beds comfy. The bathroom could do with a refresh as it was looking old but it was serviceable. We had advised them we were towing a trailer and they had reserved us a specific space. Other than that carpark was plentiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of bars and cafes some only 2 minutes away. Castle and old town is a 15 minute walk. Area very safe to walk around. All in all a great stop over and it is dog friendly too!
