  Small family owned hotel 30km far from bigger centers/cities. Comfy when you travel by car. The service was average, breakfast was very poor. Strict time for lunch and dinner, and no way to have the food even if you are late only 10 mins. Rooms are spacious, clean. There is no mini bar in the rooms also no wi-fi signal, only on the corridor and in the restaurant garden in front of the hotel.

  nice little place

  This ia a nice little hotel offering good personal service and good Italian food at reasonable prices. Very close to the motorway exit just east of Verona, you stay in a 300 year old building and sit on the terrace looking at the old church of San Pietro Apostolo. If you do not like this place, you should not go to Italy.

  Hotel and restaurant Due Colonne

  My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights as a base for exploring the nearby cities of Verona, Vicence, Soave and Venice. The hotel was very well located with plenty of free parking outside and a walk to the train station. Overall the hotel was very nice, particularly when considering the rate for the room. We had a good sized and clean room. The breakfast in the morning was a help yourself buffet with decent options. We also ate one night at the hotel restaurant which again was very good value and both of our dishes were very tasty and prepared quickly. The owner was a nice guy who gave us a bottle of wine when we left. Would recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

  Oh dear

  The first thing to say is that I suppose we were offered an inducement to write a good review. The owner presented us with a bottle of wine as we left and then said that he needed good reviews. I said that I would write the truth as I saw it... he spoke some German but not English. The location is good if you want to get onto the autostrada quickly; bad if you want a peaceful night. There were wooden shutters which helped but it's a noisy place. The bedroom was adequate, but the shelf in the bathroom had been fitted upside down and the whole thing fell off the wall the moment it was touched. As with many hotels there was no space to put a sponge-bag and toiletries for 2 people and nowhere to plug in shaver or toothbrush. The sockets in the bedroom were broken and only one accepted a plug. The free WiFi wasn't password protected and it took hours and hours to download even the simplest data. However, the hotel restaurant was first class and we can't recommend it highly enough for straightforward, good food. Breakfast on the other hand, was appalling and very expensive. So we give the hotel a poor rating but the restaurant a high one; that may not be worth the bottle of wine but it's my subjective truth!

  Very good service

  Fantastic service and nice food. The girls are lovely and very friendly. Very clean place and nice location. Very good Hotel. It's perfect for a visit near Soave to see the Abbey Church of Villanova or to go to Iperfamila a very big supermarket. Alfio
