  Reliable, clean, safe and just what you need

  My wife and I (and now our new daughter), have stayed at this motel a large number of times over the last six years. We live about three hours west of Dubbo and come to Dubbo to do some shopping every couple of months. I also stay here for work every now and then. This motel is perfect for the short term stay or the longer term stay. The price for the standard room is comparative with other motels in the area. The rooms are just what you need. Clean, comfy beds, good bathroom facilities and everything works. The breakie is also really good. Parking out the back in a secure carpark. Nice swimming pool. Common laundry facilities, ice machine and a microwave which is perfect for warming baby bottles. We have stayed at other motels in Dubbo before too, but we come back to this one. Why? Because of the staff. We have over the years got to know the front counter staff well and it feels like coming home each time we stay. With the RSL over the road for dinner and shops within a close walking distance, it is perfectly located. Nothing else I can really add. Yes, you can get accommodation in Dubbo thats cheaper or has all of the bells and whistles. But when you want the best, you come here.

  Comfortable stopover on the drive to Coffs Harbour

  After a long days drive from Bendigo, we booked into the Dubbo RSL Club Motel for a nights rest and recovery before continuing our drive to Coffs Harbour. The motel is in a great location being across the road from the local RSL club, where you can get a very good meal at a reasonable cost. There is secure off street parking which gives peace of mind. The rooms were large, clean and the beds comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, which was appreciated after a long day driving. Check in and out was very efficient.

  Sharen on reception was friendly, happy and helpful. Great asset to the motel! We stayed in room 10. Don't stay in this room if you want peace and quiet. The outdoor pool is directly outside this room and there were a couple of parents with their kids sitting right outside our window swearing away and shouting at their young kids. You could hear every word. We had sliding patio doors to the outside where other guests walk past to get to the pool and one of the kids was trying to peer through the door. The room itself is a nice size with sofa and table and chairs. The bed is firm. Clean comfortable bedding and good quality towels. The room did smell of cigarette smoke though. The cleaner left one of her dirty wet cloths on top of our cool bag. We had a room service breakfast of eggs, bacon, tomato and toast. It was ok. Couple of disappointments but an okay stay. The club over the road was clean, modern and friendly staff in the pokie area and reception.

  GREAT MOTEL

  We had interconnecting rooms on the ground floor at the back. Was great kids could walk to the pool 3 rooms away. Nice and quiet. Spacious and very clean. Shower pressure was amazing. Reception staff were beautiful. Unsure of the girl at check in she was lovely as was Gail on check out. Bistro across the road.. Kids loved the chips, hubby liked chicken snitty and I loved the steak I had was yum and reasonable. Highly recommended I would defs go again. We went to Dubbo Zoo twice it was amazing we drove in our car saved hiring a cart. The Zoo shop was a bit bare but was ok. Staff were friendly and animals were cool

  Clean and quiet motel

  The room was a great size for a motel room, and was very well cleaned and quiet. It had a table, chairs, desk area, fridge and TV. The carpark is secure and staff were friendly. The RSL food was average however they did follow all covid-safe measures including temperature check upon entry. The bathroom could be updated which would improve the overall experience, but the vanity area was spacious. Great location in the centre of Dubbo.
