  Maintaining a standard

  Weve visited this park on a few occasions over five years, always on a powered van site. On this occasion we once again found a well managed park with all the facilities needed to a good standard. We stay here not only for this reason but also because its so convenient to beautiful downtown Dubbo. Now under NRMA management it remains a great choice when visiting Dubbo with tidy slab sites and pleasant trees and grass. The facilities are to a high standard, particularly for families - camp kitchens, swimming pool and playground, COVID-safe measures in place.

  Clean Amenities.

  We stopped over for a couple of nights on our way south and found the shower and toilet amenities very clean but that's about it. Out of the 2 laundries only one drier was working and there was a bit of a que to use it. Saturday night was very loud with a band playing until 3am at the rear of a hotel across the river. In general the park needs a lot of maintenance and a good cleaning, the camp kitchen floors, walls, light fittings are dirty. The internal roads are in poor condition.

  Holidays

  Stayed for 3 nights had the onsuite site good setup for my camper. Great size park with a good selection of holiday sites from cabins to just camping with out power.plenty of takeaway shops across the street,the only thing not working properly was the wifi because their changing over to 5G

  Superb customer service

  I actually wanted to give 3.5 stars but didn't feel 3 stars would be fair. Customer service is brilliant from booking to solving minor issues in the motel unit. As a one or two nighter, if you are passing through, this park would be ideal but there is no real views and being close to the highway means you get lots of truck noise. The park seems clean but it felt 'tired' and things that stop working are not fixed with any sense of urgency. Not sure I would stay there again.

  Substandard motel units

  We stayed here on the weekend. Our accomodation was in one of their motel units @$120 per night. What can I say.....the unit we stayed in was very run down and badly needing repairs. The aircon wasnt able to be adjusted as the remote didnt work. The kitchen range hood was broken and not working and falling apart. No light in the microwave. The front screen door fly wire was falling off, meaning we couldnt leave the main door open as flies and mozzies could just come straight in. The foam mattress on the bunk bed was very old and had torn material cover. Our kids couldnt wash their hands in the bathroom as there was no plug for the basin and seperate taps, meaning they had to wash in cold water. No bedside lamp anywhere and the only lights were the bright fluorescent room lights, which made getting up to the toddler in the middle of the night, difficult. We had to use the torch on the phone for subtle night light. The park itself is located right on the highway and there are trucks constantly passing by. It is very noisy. The park has a pool, jumping pillow and trampoline the kids enjoyed. Also a small playground went down well, but the old motel units are way beyond their use by date and need updating.
