  ATV or other trailers set up Do Not stay here

  Parking a nightmare for anyone but especially guests pulling trailers for ATV etc. And the front desk staff clearly could have cared less. And even threatened towing if parked in unmarked area. The room it's self fit our needs for 4 adults and 2 children. Room was not ready at 4pm and asked for another, was told ours was the only pet friendly suite. But that was clearly not true as we saw others check in behind us in suites with pets. Social distancing was in effect and followed by most. Pool attendants friendly. Unfortunately the same could not be said for Front Desk staff, the older women's attitude was clearly not customer service friendly. She was doing us a favor @ $400 a night

  Yikes! Not As Expected...

  My wife checked in here for a night of rest after volunteering with the Red Cross. First she was given the key to "her room" and entered to find a man on the bed. Thankfully he was as surprised and as nice as she was, so she withdrew safely. The next room was dirty and smelled funny. The third room was about the same - worn, dated, dirty, musty and with an unpleasant unidentifiable odor. The balcony was also dirty and without even a chair. She wasn't comfortable staying, so she left, and the management thankfully waived any charges. Maybe some of the rooms are as pictured online.

  Outdated and misrepresented

  Terrible facility! Old and outdated. Photos don't match the actual rooms AT ALL! COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION! Our rooms had no power and wall electric heater had lint in it which is a fire hazard. Bad were hard as rocks. None of this is worth the view from the window. Charged us twice as much as the Red Lion Inn which is where we ended up staying instead. Once we saw the rooms we immediately asked for a refund and left and went to the RedLion.

  Very Misleading

  I'd like to say that the view from our room was spectacular with beautiful ocean views. Unfortunately, the room was disgusting and not COVID safe. Nothing was wrapped and marked as clean like other places that we have stayed in. The bed covering was a thin sheet duvet with a very thin blanket. That's it! My husband called the restaurant and the recording stated that take out food from the restaurant was available. This was not the case. The restaurant was not operating at all. We had to drive into town to eat. The tub was stained with rust, and the whole room smelled terrible! The room felt like a stripped down dorm room. It was not cozy and inviting at all. This hotel desperately needs a full renovation.

  Pictures and description misleading

  We decided to come here for out 10 year wedding anniversary. I chose this place because of the view, patio, amenities and the photos of the rooms. I called around to other properties in the area and pools plus restaurants ect ... were open. I didn't call to book big mistake. I would have found out that cool pool they have pictured and their restaurant was not open. The room looked a bit dated. There was a note by the thermostat that said no cool. We almost went to town to by a fan but slept with the door cracked. Room smell was a bit musty. Room was also rather small. They deffinatly shouldn't be charging full price for a property that isn't offering everything listed on their website. I paid almost $200 simply for a ocean view. We were going to extend our stay but drove an hour to Newport and stayed at the Best Western where everything was open. Huge modern clean room at a much cheaper rate.
