  Worst ever experience

  Hotel has no clear positioning and tryes to earn money on everybody - putting at the same time business conference and weddings at the territory. As a guest, you can't sleep at night because of loud music from the swimming pool (which is not for free even for the quests). You can't be sure you will find place for the parking; another car could parked on your lawn at your cottage. Kitchen is bad and expensive; and you have to wait for waitress for hours; for the breakfast you easily gets what was left from yesterday's furshet; no standard continental breakfast provided. Rooms are not cleaned well; electric sockets are in very uncomfortable places; bad ventilation and smell in bathroom. Wif-fi connection is very weak and not everywhere at the territory. Avoid this place!

  Totally not client oriented!

  Worst experience ever: reception, kitchen, room service...everything. Most of the personnel are unfriendly and annoying. Loud music till 3-4 am. Unjustifiably expencive. Totally wouldn't recommend to stay here with family, especially if you're travelling with small children.

  Stately and Expansive Grounds - Rooms/Service a Bit Rough Around the Edges

  We stayed here for one evening as a bit of a weeked getaway. It's just far enough from the bustling center of Lviv to occupy a pretty good sized acreage of forest, but close enough (no more than 15 minutes from the center of town) to make a quick escape not seem so daunting. The grounds are pretty well kept and the playground areas are great for kids. We were also really pleased with the quality of food at the hotel's restaurant (including the all you can eat buffet-style breakfast, which while a bit low on variety impressed me for having steamed vegetables and "coddled eggs"). However, while the meandering walkways through the forest are well kept, our room seemed a bit neglected (chipped tiles in the bathroom, soap scum in shower, caulking coming off some tiled surfaces). The largest drawback however is rather curt, unfriendly hotel staff. After checking out, I stood waiting for the receptionist to say "good bye" or "hope to have you stay again," or really anything to indicate her continued acknowledgment of my existence and that all was in order after returning the room key. Instead after a minute or so of waiting I politely asked if anything else was needed, and she curtly responded "not unless you used the mini-bar" (we had already said we didn't.) Worse than the lack of any friendly parting or exhortations, was her unfriendly, rather caustic behavior when my 1.5 year old innocently took down some squash rackets from a stand in the lobby. Instead of "don't worry, we'll put it back," she simply said angrily "your child" while pointing, and then silently watched my wife struggle to figure out where the rackets had been placed and said nothing when I asked if we had put them back right. Immediately after we left, she walked over and moved them and placed the correctly - the whole exercise of making my wife awkwardly try to reposition the rackets seemed like nothing more than some rather mean-spirited "punishment." Her overall unhelpful, unfriendly, and actually haughty demeanor have no place in the hospitality industry, especially in a place that bills itself as 5* and has steep (by local standards) pricing.

  Lovely Forest Retreat with non-existent customer care

  It is a place for those who would like to escape from the busy city and relax. Set in a peaceful woodland area, with paths to walk around, have a bite to eat and do a bit of animal spotting, birds watching and visit a mini zoo with a few rabits and cockerels. The hotel is lovely styled to be an old historical (medieval) wooden village, with all huts, furniture, decorations, benches, garden swing made out of tree branches. Good standards of housekeeping and cleanliness. However: 1. They do not have lifts and do not provide help with luggage. My hut was about 400 meters away from the reception up the hill. The taxi dropped me off at the reception, and after the check in I was told to walk - pushing my luggage up the hill. At the building, no staff apart from security guys. I asked for help to carry my luggage to the 4th floor, as I could not. He agreed unhappily as 'not his job'. 2. The hotel is a very popular wedding and conference venue - this peaceful location is no longer peaceful with hundreds of people around 3. Hotel service is POOR POOR POOR - staff do not speak foreign languages, not English, no other, maybe some Russian. At the bar/ restaurant, they simply ignored me knowing they could not communicate with me. I sat for 20-30 minutes waiting each time to catch their attention, to get a menu, drinks (that have been forgotten), they were not able to able to explain if they had any vegetarian meals. The bar and restaurant were always fully staffed, it never felt short staffed, but they chose to congregate around service area instead of looking out for customer needs. 4. Advertised swimming pool does not belong to the hotel, it is open to general public 'beach club' style with bars and club music. Hotel guests do not get discounted entrance fees. 5. Worn out and tired towels and beddings - clean but definitely not up to international standards of hotel quality No smiles, no hello's, misery and a general feel that the paying guests infringe on staff's grounds and chat time. I also have been overcharged for the room, and only I was able to challenge it providing an old email showing the quote. Verbal questioning did not work for them. The rufund was made in the end.

  A little outside of Lviv-on Kiev way - nice huge hotel and restaurant complex for all family and festive

  just jumped in on our way to Lviv and had great afternoon enjoying them nice cozy atmosphere - lots of handmade rural woody deco - romantic, castle-looking like entrance and natural surrounding - very good food - fast service and clean place - we would consider this as easy place for large or small family or friends festivals..... we only have been in restaurant - not in the Hotel...
