Not as advertisedMy family and I spent one night at the Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel and we were definitely not wowed. We were all looking forward to staying there and thought it would be a highlight to our trip but we were wrong. We all watched the perfectly edited video on their website and thought this would be a perfect time to experience glamping for the first time. This definitely was not what I considered glamping. The tipi was worn down and was not cleaned well. The chair inside tipi #5 was a 1970s yellow side chair and it did not go along with the rustic theme. We also had an issue with bugs. My daughter was very disgusted with all of the bugs in her bed. We were all under the assumption that we would have an assigned bathroom at the bathhouse but that was not the case. You had to wait in line to use the restroom and the showers were not cleaned after each guest. This was disturbing especially during a pandemic. Also the floors were dirty so you definitely could not go barefoot. In the video they state that they use luxury bath products, this was not evident. Another disappointment was the breakfast. On the video they discussed pastries from the local bakery. This was not the case. They also did not restock items. Once they were gone, you were out of luck. There are not many activities there. They could consider adding some yard games, like corn hole or something like that to keep guests entertained. Overall it was a neat experience and the employees were friendly but I would never stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone. If you watch the video on their website and think that is the experience that you will get, you better think twice before booking a stay there.

FantasticWe just spent a night with our two kids after 3 days visiting Yellowstone. This places is absolute fabulous. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, you will enjoy a very comfortable night in a Tastefully decorated tipi. Camp fire with complimentary drinks and smores. A great experience that I highly recommend to anyone going to Yellowstone

Exceptional Glamping Tipi Stay!JUST WOW!! Every detail has been thought of. Immediately upon arrival I was greeted and offered a beverage in the gorgeous check in tent. The after-dark ambiance was spectacular. The hangout time at the fire pit was SUPER fun - s'mores and adult drinks included?!! The staff were fantastic - mingling and talking to everyone, just great people. It felt like going to camp... everyone was so friendly and community was encouraged! This glamping experience is a feast for the eyes at every turn. The tipis are jaw-droppingly beautiful inside and they are ultra-cozy with layers of blankets, soft mattresses, and electric heaters. It got down into the 30's at night and we never felt it. The bathroom facilities here are top-notch: thoughtful and unique decor in each one which included toilet, sink, shower, etc - and they are HEATED (and super clean)! The grounds are beautiful and the night sky is amazing. In the morning, elk casually stroll past the tipi, which we loved. We didn't realize morning breakfast was also included (bonus!), and it was simple but delicious. 10/10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Wish we could have stayed longer - this place is THE BEST!!!

Wonderful visit to this unique and beautiful place!!This is such a unique and gorgeous hotel. We loved staying in the tipis. It was such a beautiful spot to watch the stars at night while enjoying the fire and eating smores. The furnishings of the tipis were beautiful and very comfortable. I also felt very safe staying in an open-air resort. We met the housekeeping manager who was very nice and extremely knowledgable on making sure all the guests were safe. The bathrooms were very clean (and quite nice too!). We loved the proximity to Yellowstone. The breakfast was a nice treat. Everything was individually packaged and felt very safe. There is a nice little shop on the property and a great area to eat breakfast. This hotel really encourages mingling with other guests, which we don't typically love, but it felt so organic here. We met really nice people from all over the country. Lastly, I was very happy to hear from the owners that they give money to Indian charities. They also support tribes by selling their merchandise in the store. After speaking with the lovely couple who owns the property, I felt even better about my stay at this gorgeous place.

15/10If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. Dreamcatcher Tipis were the highlight of our 9 day road trip through Yellowstone and the surrounding areas. We stayed at a different resort/hotel each night, but this was the only one we did not want to ever leave. The staff was super nice, fun, and helpful. The grounds were kept up well and were so beautiful, with seating and hang-out areas directly outside your tipi, along with a common area with a fire for night time for when it got cold. Blankets were provided by the fire and they had everything for smores! There was also a refrigerator with complimentary alcohol/beer! The tipis are located not very far from the 'downtown' Gardiner area, where restaurants are only a short drive away, which was nice for dinner. We ordered a pizza, quickly picked it up, and brought it back to the tipis because we wanted to enjoy the beautiful scenery a bit more and not waste time sitting in a restaurant. The tipis are accurately depicted on the website and are furnished with a 'boho' style, which we loved. The beds are extremely comfortable. There are heaters in each tipi and the beds had plenty of blankets on them to keep warm during the night (it got down to about 30 degrees and we were fine). We were a little nervous about the shared bathrooms, but they were much better than we expected. There are 6 bathrooms in an actual building with a heater (as opposed to a tipi) and they are very spacious and clean. Also, be sure to look at the stars at night. I have never seen so many in my life. So pretty! Bugs were not a problem for us, not outside, nor in our tipi. We also felt very safe during the night. Breakfast was also very good. There were individually wrapped things, like cinnamon rolls, pancake wraps with eggs, etc., yogurt, and more. Not sure why anyone would stay anywhere else when in Gardiner. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
