  Un oasis en mykonos

  Este hotel es excelente estuvimos 3 días y nos sorprendió la amabilidad de toda la gente q trabaja ahí nos sentimos realmente súper cómodos , el cuarto es chiquito pero esta excelente puesto tiene todo lo necesario para el confort, el desayuno en la pileta es genial sin dudas cuando vuelva a mykonos regresó a dream box súper recomendable

  Increible!

  Hace un par de días estuve alojada en DramBox con mi marido, desde el momento en que llegamos nos hicieron sentir especiales. La atención fue excelente en todo momento. El cuarto nuevo decorado con un gusto excelente. La vista q teníamos al mar y pileta. El desayuno fue único es a la carta y lo preparan en el momento, todo riquísimo y super bien presentado. Tambien la ubicación es muy buena esta a pie de Ornos solo unos minutos con muchas opciones de comidas, lavanderías, supermercado, etc Sin duda volvería a ir!

  Beautiful place, Spacious room, great service,

  We stayed last week at dreambox suites. Modern, clean and lovely breakfast everyday served by 2 exceptional staff who were always on duty in the bar area next to pool. You can call down and anything brought to room as well. Cant really fault interior of room (201) itself as it was huge with double walk-in shower, huge bed and sitting area. Relaxed ambience and a 10 min walk to Ornos area for beach, restaurants and bus stop for easy trip into Mykonos or further. Collected from airport and taken to port by driver when we left which made it all so easy. Only negative we opted and paid extra for the deluxe type room with jacuzzi which is on the basement level so lack of view. The jacuzzi is a little exposed being at the front overlooked by balconies above and being right by the entrance to bar/pool area so didnt feel too comfortable using it. I guess we were being too British! A little screening around it would make it more personal. We were told usually very windy on Mykonos so if it had been the room and outdoor seating area I would be a sheltered sun trap but I guess as it wasnt we are being picky. Overall lovely stay and nice place and would love to go back but wed opt for room higher up! Thank you everyone at dreambox.

  Too many issues

  My husband and I have never visited Mykonos before and thought the villas here looked great and could offer us some extra safety from covid-19 by going self catering. We didnt actually realise the villa didnt have proper cooking facilities, no oven, no bbq/grill only a hob and microwave. Perhaps it would be good to provide extra facilities. We suspected Mykonos would be added to the quarantine list before we flew out and we contacted the hotel to ask if it was possible to have a refund on our booking (we also found out some personal news which made us concerned to travel during the pandemic) of course this wasnt an option for the hotel so we decided to travel anyway. However 2 days before we are meant to arrive the hotel contacted us to say they have sold our room and we will have to stay in a different room. From their website we didnt particularly like the look of any other villas so after an extremely stressful couple of days of emails they finally agreed to give us the room we had booked. Not only were we coming to celebrate a special birthday but we were now celebrating the news of our pregnancy which now had already got off to a bad start with the hotel. When we arrived we found the villa to be clean but there was a horrible smell from the toilet which is right in the bedroom. The fridge made a pretty constant high pitched noise which kept my husband up at night. We had to throw food away twice as we had an invasion of ants, firstly on the side in the kitchen so we thought our food would be safe in the drawers. But no we had to throw out more food. We couldnt use the pool as the weather was EXTREMELY windy there is no protection from the wind in the one bedroom villa and had we of known about the severe winds in Mykonos we wouldnt have stayed here. This particular part of the island seems windier than most other areas we visited. The hotel was aware of our news and reasons to be there celebrating but they did not attempt to make this special for me or us in anyway. We ended up moving to a different villa on my actual birthday which of course was a horrible way to be spending my special day. The new villa was a bit more protected from the wind with the pool at the back and the kitchen area was outside - we didnt have any food left that didnt need to be refrigerated at that point so we didnt notice if there was also an ant problem here too. We had special dinner reservations for my birthday that evening and when it came to my husband and I getting ready the cold water stopped working in the villa. My husband had to be let into the old room to shower but they didnt seem to understand the severity of the issue as it took a long time to fix. We were met with the response you dont need to wait for us to fix the water to go out but we obviously wanted to shower before going out for the evening. Taxis are hard to get hold of and then we couldnt get a taxi for a while, there was no offer for the hotel driver to take us to our destination or anything. On our final day whilst getting ready the water went at the villa again. My husband ended up just using our bottled water to shower with as the water coming from the taps and shower was just boiling hot. Overall our stay was extremely disappointing and we dont feel the hotel made any attempt to make our stay special or seemed to care about the number of issues we were experiencing.

  Not as described !!!!!!!!!!

  My daughter treated me to 4 nights at the dream box one bedroom mini villas She booked the dream box , because we wanted the privacy of our own pool( which I must say can not fault the villa and pool area ) , but the option to have breakfast and drinks at the dream box hotel . When we arrived at Mykonos airport , we was greater by a lovely man called GEORGE , who was managing the dream box mini villas . We asked him about how we can arrange the breakfast for the following morning , to be told , the hotel never opened this season , only the. Mini villas are open , because of Covid ...this was a great disappointment and the hotel miss sold us the option to use the facilities at the hotel and we had emailed back and forth regarding the Covid issues and at no point did our contact inform us of this. We have emailed the hotel and they have not yet replied . The mini villas are quite remote and we was a bit worried about this , being two females away on their own and would have felt a lot safer if the hotel itself was open George could not do enough for us and could see we was disappointed . He offered to get us takeaway food from local Restaurants and also went to the supermarket to get us supplies He was so helpful and such a lovely man . Previous years we have stayed at Mykonos no 5 And I would recommend that hotel to any one I await a reply from dream box as to an explanation , why they never mentioned the hotel closure .
