  Preciosa campiña cretense

  Lo mejor de este establecimiento es la ubicación con sus vistas a montaña y mar, las instalaciones con varias piscinas en un pueblecito con encanto, la amabilidad del personal, la estancia en general fue genial. Habitaciones limpias, muy espaciosas, nuevas y cuidadas. La mejor manera de llegar es con un coche de gama mini o compacta, puesto que las calles son muy estrechas. Cerca del pueblo, a 10 minutos, hay varias poblaciones de costa con supers y restaurantes al lado de la playa. Lástima que el wifi no funcionase de todo bien y la presión del agua fuese bastante pobre.

  Nice relaxing retreat

  Stayed here for the week in off peak season. It was a lovely quiet place with clean pool with clean surrounds. Everything we needed was there. Lovely view from our bedroom 2 restaurants close by and a mini market otherwise there is a couple of villages within a few minutes drive. Would recommend hiring a car and make sure you can drive through tight streets. Really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again. Only negative didn't have much contact with the owner and didn't know they had a pool bar. Definitely come back.

  wonderful

  Wonderful place, great for families. Quiet and relaxing, sparkling clean. Water pressure in the shower is low, and lots of mosquitoes. Other than these, the villas are truly great and the staff is friendly and helpful.

  Family Summer Vacation

  This is the perfect place for a family vacation! Thanks for Poppy and the whole team to make our trip most memorable! The 4 bed + 1 villa we stayed in was fully equipped including washing machine and a complete kitchen. The little mountain village is only 40 min from Chania airport and there are plenty of beaches in driving distance. We would recommend renting a car.

  Do not book - be warned

  We had a wedding of 80 people booked for Crete in August 2020, majority coming from Australia. 60 of the guests, including us, were booked at Douliana Villas for 1 week at a cost of 17,190 euros, of which 8,595 euros was paid as a deposit. When covid-19 made it impossible for the wedding to proceed as planned we informed Veronica from Douliana Villas ASAP in April 2020 the wedding would have to be postponed to 2021 and the Villas were instantly available for others to rent. Veronica assured us our 8,595 euro deposit was valid for the postponed wedding in 2021. She did keep telling us it was our choice not to have the wedding in August 2020 this left us lost for words. Fast forward to January 2021 and Veronica contacts us to advise that our 8,595 euro deposit that was still valid for 2021 is not really valid and explained in incomprehensible logic that only 4297.50 euros was still valid and we had to pay another 4297.50 euros to secure accommodation for our scaled down wedding in 2021. Referring Veronica to our agreement (which is all in email), discussions went nowhere. She just kept saying it was our choice not to have the wedding in August 2020. Flights were available and going on and on about the special deal we got and shouldnt complain. For the record, when we initially booked, she gave a price and we agreed. There was zero negotiation. We physically visited Douliana Villas in person twice in one week in September 2019, and my fiancé is a native Greek speaker, and still this is how we were treated. We would not recommend dealing with this business in anyway. There are many other beautiful places to stay in Crete; support the good, honest businesses. We will be taking our business elsewhere for our wedding in 2021.
