    Buena atención, lindo hotel, la limpieza es perfecta, los amenitis son buenos, durante mi estancia la pase bien y volvería a visitarlo. La única sugerencia que propongo es que las habitaciones cuenten con caja fuerte o seguridad, es un complemento importante para almacenar documentos importantes de viaje.

    Won't be back

    Let me preface this review, with, we are loyal Hilton Honors Gold status members. We checked in New Years Day. Restaurant and bar were being renovated and not open. Supposedly, they were re-opening them sometime this week. Lots of construction noise and odors. Check in was smooth. We were told that dinner was being served in a small conference room. We got to our room, which was quite small and there is no tub. Toilet wasn't working. Once downstairs, we asked the front desk person, after a bit of a wait, to please send someone up to the room to fix. We walked into the conference room which was surrounded by construction materials and chemical smells. Sat down, first table we sat at was dirty, we got up and moved. The waitress came over, took our drink order, and then took our food orders. She came back 5-10 minutes later and said the chef couldn't get to the walk-in, it was locked/blocked and the kitchen couldn't cook the food we ordered. She offered fish/chips, frozen, I'm assuming. NOPE! We did feel bad for her, she was very apologetic. We said no and walked over to the Hilton Garden Inn and had dinner there. We told the waitress why we were eating there. Our waitress could have not been nicer. The Chef even came out to talk to us. The food was very good. The day we were leaving, we didn't even want to try breakfast. Again, we walked over to the HGI. When we were checking out, front desk person asked if we enjoyed our stay. I said no and stated the reasons for being unhappy and that we would not be back. She didn't seem to be concerned at all. Seems to me, that the staff could benefit from some corporate customer satisfaction training. We normally stay at HGI Roanoke Rapids, NC, which is a terrific, clean, friendly property. Thought we would try this property, which was a little closer to our destination. It was not worth it.

    nice staff, clealiness sub-par

    Staff very friendly and polite, the only issue was room; which first one was dirty...got a 2nd one and that room had mucus on 2 walls(Room 208) FYI, hopefully they clean it, I didn't complain the 2nd time as it was already pain.

    Comfortable Accommodations

    The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. Housekeeping could use improvement and some of the front desk staff were less than welcoming. Overall, nice stay. Very modern and up to date rooms and bathrooms.

    Impressed by quick overnight

    My family and I stayed at the Doubletree at the very last minute because of a flight change and layover in Richmond since it is close to the airport. I have to say beside a couple of aesthetic issues (the numbers in the elevator need to be replaced by more than just a piece of paper and a furniture repair needed [pic below] which informed the desk of - only 2 reasons I gave this a 4 instead of 5) this hotel was gorgeous. Due to covid regulations obviously things were sparse - bistro and pool closed, staff distanced, but otherwise I was absolutely impressed by this hotel. The rooms and common areas - even elevators - were all very clean. You could smell the cleanliness when you entered the room. They certainly took the new Hilton cleanliness promise to heart and I hope all of the hotels across the chains keep it up forever! The bed was amazingly comfortable. It was the first time I slept decently in a week! The bathroom was huge and the shower was so gorgeous I was excited to use it. I definitely recommend and personally hope to return here as I have family in the area.
