  LOVE THE COOKIES!!!

  Great stay experience. Staff was outstanding. Food was very good. Cleanliness was thumbs up. Fitness center was just OK. Upon arriving, the front desk staff offered me a warm cookie and it made my night.

  Clean and updated hotel.

  This was my second time staying at the hotel within two weeks. I stayed at this hotel because it was within 5 miles of the Xcel Center and offered complimentary shuttle service to/from the venue. What I enjoyed most about this hotel: 1. Abundance of free parking 2. Friendly and well informed staff 3. Onsite restaurant that opened at 4 PM each day 4. Complimentary shuttle service. Opportunities for improvement: 1. The exercise room is warmer than usual. Temperature could be dropped a few degrees or add fans for circulation. Equipment was well maintained. Room was staff with towels and cold water. 2. Contacting the desk at times was a challenge. There were times I would call the front desk and immediately be placed on hold. No "hello", no "I need to assist another guest" just placed on hold. Not the end of the world but a little frustrating. My workaround was using the Hilton Honors app to text message the front desk. I always received a reply with ten minutes.

  Perfect place to stay

  Awesome stay, everyone at this hotel are so helpful, give great customer service and go above and beyond everytime I am here. Thank you all for making this such a wonderful place to stay at, I appreciate it

  Clean facility w/scaled down service due to COVID

  NOISE Very quiet despite proximity to freeway. The hotel was also way under capacity. ROOMS Hilton has one of the best COVID cleaning programs. Someone I know at corporate can attest to the lengths Hilton is going to ensure cleanliness, which is why Im staying at Hilton properties anywhere I can. SERVICE Friendly and accommodating staff. Ask for a Do Not Disturb sign for your room though. They seem to be one of those items hotels are removing from the rooms. FOOD The on-site restaurant is closed so there is no room service available. Theres a list of restaurants available at the front desk but youll have to look up menus from each. Snack items, hot water & Starbucks coffee machine available. ACCESS Modified for some reason. The carport entrance is roped off and only the side entrance is available. If you need the luggage dolly, the setup isnt ideal since you have to push it up and down the curb. OVERALL Good stay.

  Thanksgiving 2020

  We had made a reservation at another Hilton in Woodbury only to find out our reservations were canceled without notice (not even an email). I guess that was a lucky break for us because we found this Doubletree which was also very near where we wanted to be. We were nervous to travel for Thanksgiving this year, but staying at this Doubletree was a great choice. Hilton has done a fantastic job with regards to keeping their properties safe and clean during the pandemic. When I called to confirm our reservation, the staff took the opportunity to tell us what to expect during our stay (i.e. the onsite restaurant and room service were not available). Once we arrived, they went over this again, but also told us what was available to us. We are diamond guests, so they offered a nice selection of breakfast items (I was surprised to see freshly made eggs and breakfast sandwiches). My son was hungry one of the nights and they were able to provide him with pizza and a drink. The rooms here were very nice with microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee and tea available in the room. As diamond members, they try to upgrade your room, I was traveling with my adult son and I would not expect this all the time, but on this trip, they were able to upgrade us to two connecting king rooms - so basically we had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath. This was super nice. The staff at this hotel went well beyond expetations. I had to work a bit on this trip. The internet connection was excellent, Lots of outlets, usb outlets and great lighting. Covid or not, it will be easy to rebook this hotel each time we visit the Minneapolis/St. Paul/Woodbury area.
