  Bonito lugar para relajarte, habitaciones confortables, hotel cerca dela ciudad, y de las calles principales, el precio va bien con el tipo de habitaciones, nosotros agarramos el hotel temprano en la tarde así que lo disfrutamos mucho de todo lo que ofrece

  Nice Room and Furnishings

  leanliness: Nice and clean Bed quality: Glorious for me. Perfect support and lovely linens. Reception friendliness/treats: Coffee behind checkin counter upon request. Furnishing quality: Well appointed room with plenty of space. I got an idea to help my daughter decorate her home - use a curtain for a closet door. It worked well! Bathroom: Super Internet: Fast Charging: Sufficient Elevator: Rapid Noise level: Quiet Breakfast: None offered during COVID-19 time. Bags for elite members with wrapped sweet roll, granola bar and juice. Other: Surprisingly they had USA Today papers for guests. I have not seen any papers on this two week trip as most hotels have stopped getting them (COVID is nice excuse to not provide but virus isnt transmitted on papers)!!

  Does not follow Hilton cleaning protocols and terrible area

  We exited I-5 and discovered a landfill (given how tall the piles of garbage were, I am not sure how you could come to any other conclusion) and a homeless camp underneath the overpass. We drove into the parking lot of the hotel, and the parking lot was full - the only spots left were near the McDonald's, where there were people obviously trading stolen goods. We go the front door to check in, but the door is locked and you have to be buzzed in. I had no idea Salem was this type of city. We check in and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but then two people without masks walk by us blasting loud music. We had a room on the 4th floor on the West side of the hotel. Although it was a very tired looking room, it did have a very comfortable bed, nice soaps and was quite large. This hotel is not abiding by the cleanliness standards of other Hilton's - no seals on the doors and no stickers on high touch surfaces. I assumed that a room on that side of the hotel would be quiet, as it was on the other side of i-5, but that was far from being the case. There is a significant amount of street racing in the area - and it was going on for hours. We wake up to knocking on the door - housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:00 a.m. asking to clean our room. I could hear them proceed down the hall knocking on doors to find an empty room to clean. That brings about three questions. 1) What hotel does housekeeping that early? 2) We were checking out that day - does the hotel not give a list to housekeeping of what rooms are ready to clean 3) according to Hilton's policies, housekeeping is not supposed to enter your room for the duration of your stay so what are they doing asking to clean all these rooms? Finally, we go to checkout. There is a guy standing in the 4th floor hallway talking on his cell phone with no mask. Unfortunately, mobile checkout was not successful and I had to go down to the lobby to check out, where there were two more guests without masks on. To sum it up this hotel was terrible - it does not follow Hilton's cleaning standards, does not enforce the mandatory mask policy (5/5 guests observed did not have masks), is in a terrible area, and many aspects of the room are worn out to the point it does not live up to Hilton's brand standard.

  WAY TOO NOISY

  Although this property follows Hilton's sanitization policies and the staff are wonderful, it is right next to the freeway. Massive noise all night plus light leakage = no sleep. Might be better on the side away from the freeway and other senior guests need to be aware that there is a large step up and into the bathtub which can be dangerous.

  You Don't Need a Room; Bring a Tent

  This location is sandwiched between 2 homeless camps. I went to the car at night and felt nervous with people wandering around the property. We had 2 mountain bikes locked in our truck. They were stolen overnight. The next morning when I reported the incident to the front desk, I was informed that there are NO security cameras. Even though our bikes were stolen, considering the location and lack of security, I actually felt relieved that nothing else had happened.
