  If you believe in science, this hotel is probably not for you.

  Let me start by saying that I'm a combat veteran who served in the infantry in Afghanistan and I did not feel safe here for myself or my family. Any other time, I would have likely given this hotel 5 stars. Its a Hilton, so normally you get what you pay for, but these are not ordinary times. My family was driving through from Chicago and decided to stop here for the night. Its right off the highway so it is conveniently located. Right away we noticed that wearing masks wasn't exactly mandatory. Sure they post that its required, but it wasn't enforced whatsoever and over half the guests did not wear them. The crowd was questionable at best to the tune of four grown men mocking me and my 12 year old kid for wearing masks, not to my face of course, but as we were walking away. The room, while sealed with a QR code to "prove" cleanliness, was dusty all over and obviously hastily cleaned. I gave it 2 stars because the staff was friendly.

  Should Have Stayed Downtown

  On a road trip, we stayed one night in Omaha. In hindsight, we should have stay near the Old Market area which is fun. This spot has a funny spread out layout, but it has a large indoor pool area. Covid breakfast was skimpy.

  Traveling through

  I stayed in this hotel traveling from Denver to Minnesota. The hotel was okay but I had higher expectations for a newly remodeled Doubletree. The lobby was clean and the staff was super friendly. My room did smell like cigarettes which was unfortunate but the room was nice. I wasnt impressed overall but it is a good deal for the price.

  Very Nice!

  We spent at weekend at the Double Tree while visiting family in Omaha. It's a little hard to get to coming off of I-80, even though it's right off I-80. Check in was easy, staff was friendly, and the hotel common areas were spotless! We had a very nice room with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (Keurig). The room was clean, except the bathroom sink could've been scrubbed a little better. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were way too soft. They flattened out as soon as you laid on them. Covid breakfast is just a little pack you can pick up in the cooler -- muffin, granola bar, and juice box -- there is free coffee and creamer in the lobby. They do have a restaurant on site, but we did not eat breakfast, or any other meal there. I was pleased with my stay and would definitely stay again! It is a pet friendly hotel -- even had treats in the lobby! Double Tree didn't disappoint -- still had cookies -- they were individually wrapped and you had to get them at the front desk!

  How do I say this...

  I usually don't do this, but I have been here for not even an hour and so many things are already wrong. Currently the hotel is under renovations or somethings. This means that to get all of my stuff to my room, I have to take an elevator down one floor, walk outside around half a block, then into the huge lobby and up to the other elevator. The TV doesn't work, there is sticky stuff all over the room, there were no cups for the coffee maker, and so much more that I don't want to get into. PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!
